Accessaries Production Capacity Produced by cooling natural gas below it ’s boiling point of -163℃. Once liquefied, the gas takes up about one six hundredth of the space it occupies in gaseous form, making it much easier to transport and store.
It is converted back to gas by simply raising the temperature, but the membrane sheets of LNG tank must stand against temperature changes of approximately 200℃.
( from -163℃ to normal temperature)Thus, making the membrane sheets does not only require to have high technology, but also the most advanced facilities.
PRODUCTS
Compose inner wall of MARK III type cargo containment system, and actually in contact with LNG’s low temperature (-163℃) when LNG is carried & stored. Maintains airtighness and endurance in the cargo containment system. Absorbs stress from expantion & contraction when LNG is transfered to its ground storage. At this moment, the Membranes have to with stand temperature � uctuation of approximately 200℃.

Sloshing ImpactAs LNG is carried. the carrier might get capsized due to hard sloshing inpact in LNG tank by unstable weather conditions. It is critical to reduce such sloshing impact in order to carry LNG safe. The corrugated membrane sheet’s unique shape has function of breaking waves in the tank. With support of GTT, TMC’s R&D team continuously studies and researches to produce innovative membrane sheets of highest standards.
Further developing on cutting edge technology, TMC department has various patent applications for membrane sheet, securing TMC’s position as a global leader.
