Technology Feast at Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology, Salem DGCT organized 4 th Open House Exhibition on “Science and Technology” to commemorate the occasion of Engineers’ day on 10th September 2016. This event provides a platform for the students to exhibit their innovative ideas through projects, models, and poster presentations. More than 1000 students from all the departments enthusiastically participated and presented 350 projects and models to depict the advancements of science and technology by finding solutions to challenging problems. On this Occasion,Er. K. Mariappan, Vice- President, Tamilnadu Small & Tiny Industries Association, Mr. G. Kamaraj, Executive Engineer, Salem Corporation Mr. C. Gopinath, R&D Specialist, Nokia Networks, Mr.A.Kaviyarasu, Senior Associate Manager, Accenture, Bangalore, Mr. R. T. Aravazhi, Superintendent Engineer, Mechanical Division, Thermal Power Station-II, Mr. Pugal, Chairman, Pugal Associates, Salem, Dr. D. Manikandan, Assistant Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Mr. G. Venkatesan, Chief Engineer Design & Partner, Phoenix Power Electricals and Mr. V. Hariharan, Manager, G5 SwitchGear were Guests of Honour. They planted tree saplings of various varieties to create a green campus. Among the varieties of exhibits, Child rescue system from Borewell, Bone Conduction Audio System for Deaf People, Hybrid Smart Electrical Vehicle, Home Appliance Kit, Automatic Irrigation System, Vertical Axis Wind Turbine, Smart Bus Alert System for Easy Navigation of Blind, Soil PH Analysis using Arduino, Bingo APP- Game Application Development, Achieving Shoulder Surfing Resistant Graphical Authentication, Data Transmission Using Light Fidelity, Recycling of Energy emitted by street light through solar panel were displayed. Models such as Text Module of S2S Translation Technology, Future of Technical Art, Latest Technology in Artificial Intelligence, Piezo-Smart Roads, Automatic Electricity Generator Bike gave a great visual treat of the concepts related to environment, technology and science. Prof. Dhirajlal A. Gandhi, Chairman, Mr.Manoj Kumar, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Archana Manojkumar, Secretary and Dr.V.Muralibhaskaran, Principal congratulated the participants for enthusiastically presenting and implementing their ideas in the form of projects. More than 500 students from different schools in and around Salem visited the exhibition and got benefitted. Among the various projects displayed in the exhibition, few of them would be implemented by the management in the college campus in the near future and promote research and development. The students assured that, the effective futuristic ideas evolved from their mind would be made realistic in the quick span of time. Technology Feast at Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology, Salem

DGCT organized 4th Open House Exhibition on “Science and Technology” to
