Many cities, such as Beijing has continuously encountered severe air pollution and haze weather The grim situation intensifies the pressure on the control of air pollution. To cope with the increasingly serious air pollution, China has issued a series of laws and regulations and planning for the control of air pollution Policies Action Plan for Air Pollution Prevention and Control (State Council [2013]37) Key Areas of Air Pollution Prevention and Control during the Twelfth Five Year (MEP [2012]130) On the Implementation of Air Pollutant Special Emission Limit Values (MEP Announcement No.14, 2013) More stringent emission standards of air pollutants will be issued (thermal power, steel and other industries) 1.
