Technical ly, TECHNOFIT undertaken about 6,950MW of national industrial power plant related projects and the figure soon will be higher since TECHNOFIT successfully secured with Manjung

5 Project (a 1,000MW coal-fired power plant) in Perak.

The Manjung 5 project is a turbine site and marks a departure for TECHNOFIT and a major expansion of its scope.

In a nutshell, TECHNOFIT were seen as one of homegrown company that is all charged up to take on bigger and more global projects in the power generations sectors.

Janamanjung Fellowship Ride 2015 (JMFR`15)

With regards Corporate Social R e s p o n s i b i l i t y ( C S R ) , TECHNOFIT Sdn Bhd was pleasure to actively participate a 130km Fun Ride program that was organised by TNB Janamanjung on 26th April 2015. As a last year, TECHNOFIT was given an opportunity to participate the ride and setup a booth during the event

to expose TECHNOFIT business nature to the clients and public.

Corporate Affairs was given responsibility for organising the exhibition. During this event, staff from TECHNOFIT Northern Region, and TECHNOFIT Fabrication also were lend a hand in helping and promoting our branding and business nature. It shows a teamwork spirit among staff was great although we were working at different place, but yet still under TECHNOFIT group.

FIRST AID, CPR & AED CERTIFICATION PROGRAM In ensuring all TECHNOFIT staff was occupied with safety awareness and knowledge, Human Resources collaborate with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Department organised one special training that combined Occupational First Aid, CPR and AED Certification Program.

This training program has been endorsed by CERT Academy. This program was took place at one of TECHNOFIT subsidiaries, TECHNOFIT Fabrication Sdn Bhd

in Lumut , Perak on 15th till 16th

June 2015.

There were all together 16 participants from Headquarters and others region joined the event. During this training program, all participants were exposed and introduced about CPR Practical, First Aider Practical, Car Accident Simulations, and also a fire drill session.

Empowering Safety & Health Committee Training B Y A I N I E A F I Z A H Organized by Human Resources | HSE Department

On last June 2015, Human Resources Department managed to organised a training called “Empowering Safety & Health Committee Training” that was specially designed for all the HSE Steering Committee includes our committed Group Managing Director , Tuan Hj Mohd Izuddin Hj. Mohd Ilias and our dedicated Executive Director, Mr. N.Sugumaran.

This training aimed to recap all the tips and knowledge regards Safety , Health and Environment such as methods to handling emergency at work place. Part of it, this training also give extra knowledge to all participants regards OSHA 1994 – Safety & Health Committee Regulation 1996 and its requirements. Furthermore, it also give all the participants a deep understanding about its functions and how effectiveness of safety and health committee towards organizations.

BASIC RIGGING & SLINGINGTECHNOFIT realize, human resources is very vital to the company. Right people at the right place since it will give impact to the company daily productivity. Hence, on 3rd and 4th June 2015, there was held a “Basic Rigging & Slinging” training program. This training was a collaboration program between Human Resources and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Department.

This training was done successfully at CONSIST Training Centre. This training introduce and give a bundle of knowledge and awareness during perform rigging and slinging works. Part of it, participants will understand the correct type of sling , hook shackle for load and have knowledge of the use of lifting beams , slings , chains, ropes and shackle.

TECHNOFIT SUPPORT YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

Youth generation is really important to the nation development. TECHNOFIT also have the same vision and due to that, TECHNOFIT grab the opportunities during the program held by Ministry Of Youth and Sports recently. This program was specially designed by the

ministry to engage with all IKBN students all around Malaysia.

Under this program, the IKBN students will have their Industrial Training in selected private agencies that registered under this program and TECHNOFIT are one of that. During this program, IKBN students will undergo a Recruitment Management Trainee program to enhance their skills and finally become a skilled worker to work after end of their education program. This program shows and give TECHNOFIT a huge opportunity to serve country and support government policies especially in youth development.

About Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS)

Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) established in 1953 with the establishment of Cultural Division u n d e r We l f a r e D e p a r t m e n t responsible for youth. Then in 1964 the Culture Department moved under Information Ministry.

At the same time with fast development of youth associations, Youth Division then set up under the same ministry as well as Sports Division. Ministry of Youth and Sports created on 15 May 1964 on the National Youth Day itself.

In 1972, the Culture Division created and the name change to Ministry of Cultural, Youth and Sports until 1987. By then the Culture Division move under Ministry of Culture and Tourism. With the move, the Ministry of Youth and Sports back with its old name. Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) trusted to fulfil Malaysia’s Policy on Youth and Sports. .

TECHNOFIT Energy Sdn Bhd are currently i m p l e m e n t i n g 4 projects at PMU Tasek Cement, Kuala Ketil, Lukut and Chembong. These projects are all

at different stage of the timeline. In addition, we are also implementing the supply of spare transformers to Bukit Sentosa and Air Tawar stores.

Tasek Cement is expected to complete in October 2015

even though the extension of time given is until Dec 2015. TECHNOFIT Energy have completed the civil work and now running for the erection of the electrical equipment.

At Kuala Ketil, the civil work is towards the end and expected to complete by end of August 2015. After which, we will start the erection work at the 275KV bay. Two units of 240MVA transformers are expected to be at site by

middle of this month. KKTL Project is expected to be completed by end of January 2016.

At Lukut and Chembong, T E C H N O F I T E n e r g y successful complete the Utility M a p p i n g a n d S o i l Investigations. Next, we will start on the civil works at both s i tes . As for the spare transformers, TNB Engineers are in CGL Factory for the design reviews. The deliveries o f t h e s e 6 u n i t s o f transformers are scheduled end of January 2016.
