GRASP PUA CARTRIDGE

POLYURETHANE ADHESIVE – D4 CLASSIFICATION

• DESCRIPTION: GRASP PUA is a one component solvent – free, quick setting, polyurethane adhesive that reacts with humidity to cure. Fully cured GRASP PUA has a strong highly water resistant bond (d4 classification) and is suitable for the marine environment. Certified to EN204 D4.

• USES:

GRASP PUA has excellent adhesion to all common building materials like wood, plasterboard, particleboard, aluminium, iron, steel, sheet metal, polystyrene foam, insulation foam, concrete, F.C. sheeting, brick, masonary, veneer, melamine, and many plastics (testing is recommended) and many other common substrates. GRASP PUA will adhere all of these products, provided one of the two surfaces contains moisture. The product will not cure if there is no moisture available from the substrate. eg bonding glass to glass is not possible. Also suitable for exterior woodwork and in marine environments.

• DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Surface must be clean, dry, even and free from grease. Apply a bead with a cartridge gun. Bring both substrates immediately together and clamp, nail or screw to apply pressure for about 30 minutes. (It is not necessary to have a high pressure, but a constant one on the entire surface is essential. The surfaces should remain in contact during the curing time. GRASP PUA expands slightly thus filling any irregularities in the substrate. A mist of water over the surface will assist cure during dry cool conditions. Grasp PUA is an Adhesive not a mastic and therefore should not be used as a gap filler.
