Recording holiday

This is the employee homepage.

You can book holiday, or log sickness absence of a colleague.

There are different modules, managers and HR staff have

more access.

Shows employee’s holiday allowance at

a glance.

1. Click here to book holiday.

2. Click on the day(s) you want to book, then hit ‘Save’.

This screen shows all your absences, planned and unplanned.

3. Other planned absences, such as training or jury service etc can be recorded too. These appear in yellow.

Recording sickness absence

A team view of all planned and unplanned absences can also be accessed from the toolbar.

4. Back to the home page, you can log sickness absence for a colleague here.

5. The manager or colleague then completes this initial form. A sickness reason is given from a pre-determined list (these trigger referrals to Ellipse)

6. Once logged an email is sent to the absent employee with a link to complete the return to work form on their return.

An email is also sent to the manager and HR.

7. Once they have returned the employee then logs in and completes their return to work form.

8. The employee completes the form and confirms the reason for absence. The manager will then be sent an email to review the completed form too.

TeamSeer reports

There are a variety of reports available to managers and HR.

All employees can access basic information about their own absences.

Managers can access more detailed reports for their team.

HR users can access the admin tab to add/remove users or make changes to reporting lines and notifications.

HR users can also access a range of different reports showing holiday and sickness absence information.

These reports can be customised to show different departments or locations. The Bradford Factor report is useful for monitoring sickness absence. Reports can be viewed on screen or downloaded to Excel.

This is another report which shows overall absence across the organisation. These can be customised and downloaded.
