Reflection on teaching

Through this course, I learn more than my 8years teaching experience. Making materials, handling group members and cooperating group leaders are true lesson in GEP class. Most of all, writing reflective journal and sharing each ideas are the most productive ways for improving my teaching strategies and designing better lesson plan in future class.

Letters from Students

Dear, Vinny~

Hi! I'm Gelim in Mon class. Our class already finished 2

days ago, time is too fast. I was really happy because met

you as a mentor also classmates was really nice and cool.

I've had a fear about speaking English before taking this

class, but I have a confidence for learning English.

Thanks to you, I learned many things about English.

Although I felt a tired every Monday due to internship, I

got a power and energy from you.

In addition, you gave a lot of information which is a

confusing expression long time ago to us and motivation

for English.

When I ask a strange question to you, you always teach me

kindly.

I think this style of class that teachers teach us one by one

was really good for me, can concentrate on the class .

Vinny, you'll be a good teacher! I'm sure that!

I appreciate your considerate teaching and useful English

tips!

I want to keep in touch you forever~

B. regards

Letters from Students

I’ve had a great time with Jinju in our GEP class

during this semester. She was a great tutor for us.

Actually, I took GEP class last semester, so I

already knew about style of this class. The group

leaders always helped us and gave us good

feedback. Jinju also always gave us lots of advice

and made us take it easy.

She is a really kind person. Whenever I had

questions, she taught me proper words or

expressions very kindly. Generally speaking, it’s

quite difficult for foreigners to learn English with

other students in a school class, so students usually

tend to be tense and stressed out. However, she is

very warm, so she always encouraged us and

helped us to get rid of our nerves. I think if I didn’t

meet her, my English level wouldn’t be improved.

Also, she wrote lots of reply on the web board. She

really inspired us to study English hard. For

example, she gave us some simple topics that we

can answer easily. Then we write our own reply

and read other’s. It was so helpful for me because I

could learn lots of expressions and phrases from

our classmates, reading other’s writing.

I always appreciate her because she provided a lot

of advice and feedback. Whenever I am with her, I

always believe that she’ll be a great English

teacher in the future. I won’t forget her and thank

you Jinju!
