    Coach's Notes

At the time of our last update, the team was 0-2 and it was tough to point out the bright

  • spot of success. However, since December the team has won nine times with notable teamwins against #11 New York University, #17 Roger Williams, and #18 Wesleyan. Two ofthese victories helped the Lions finish second at the Budd Whitehill National Duals. It is thesecond time in three years that the team made the championship bout in Lycoming andmarks the most finals appearances by any team in the history of the event. It is special toknow we have a great tradition but it was really neat to see how our team cametogether that weekend and proved that when everyone contributes, we have acompetitive product. My staff and I urge you to come see our team take the mat at homeon 2/2/18 vs Wilkes when we host a special ceremony for Wrestlers in Business or on2/9/18 vs Delaware Valley for senior night. Whatever match you see this team wrestle,I guarantee they give 100% effort and battle every inch of the way! Be sure toread Coach's notes for an update on the team by weight class.

*Note: Friday 1/26 match is at 6pm in Springfield, MA and Saturday at noon theteam wrestles three duals at Bridgewater State University.
