TCN Worldwides New Booth Location In The Middle Of The ICSC Action TCN Worldwide’s new booth location, in the Central Hall, is in the middle of the ICSC action. Now in all honesty, the “action” at this year’s event did not compare to that of years past. By all estimates, attendance was down by about 50% but gaining this prominent booth location is a major win for TCN Worldwide, our member firms, and the agents who attend future RECon/ICSC Conventions. Even with the slow economy and lower than expected attendance the annual RECon/ICSC Convention in Las Vegas is still the largest deal driven event of the year. The Retail Group, with support from TCN, has given us a proud presence year after year and this year was no different! Several attendees reported that this year they were able to secure meetings with clients and hard to reach prospects who were unable to accommodate their request for a meeting in years past. John Thompson of The Everest Group stated that this was the best RECon/ICSC event that he had ever attended, noting that it was the first one where he actually closed a deal at the event. It seems that while attendance was down, those who attended were there to do business, making the most of every meeting. We look forward to our participation at future RECon/ICSC Conventions and the opportunities that this new booth location will afford TCN Worldwide and our members in the years to come. If you were unable to participate this year, please don’t let the opportunity to participate next year pass you by.
