TCEA Session Report

TSUN (Texas SunGard User Network) 2018 was held in San Antonio, Texas this year from April 8th

through April 11th. In attendance this year from Cypress Fairbanks ISD was John Crumbley, Eric

May, Norma Blenderman, Son Nguyen, Dava Clark and Neetha Chada. Each day the team would

start early and attend learning sessions. They also met with vendors to discuss new technologies.

Hardeep Gulati, CEO of PowerSchool, visitied

CFISD on Friday, April 6, 2016. Mr Gulati shared

the vision and direction of PowerSchool with

regard to eSchoolPLUS and eFinancePLUS.

This event was attended by many surrounding

school districts that utilized PowerSchool.

Mr. Gulati invested many hours of his time to

ensure that CFISD was successful now and going

forward.

attending the Texas

SunGard User Network

(TSUN) annual state

conference hosted by

PowerSchool. It was an

opportunity to learn the latest

technology provided by

eSchoolPLUS and

eFinancePLUS. In addition, it is

an excellent opportunity to

network with professionals in

the industry. Presenting

This week was FAST.

There were more meetings then usual

with more new projects being discussed.

One thing that always amazes me is how

much our technology team accomplishes

in a week. Each team relying on the

other profoundly.

I appreciate our Leaders , CCC, DII, NIC,

and ISA.

We are the dream team.

This week most of my team were at the

TSUN conference.

Dava and John presented On-Boarding

with Laserfiche Tuesday. When it was

open for questions we were asked great

question and other districts shared their

paperless initiatives with us.

Over all the team learned what was

coming in the next release and had the

opportunity to meet many new

PowerSchool leaders.

It was a great opportunity to grow

relationships with other district that share

our passion for the education and

success of students.
