Abstract- This paper presents a new wind generator strategy with bladeless approach based on ion movement. The bladeless wind generator is given for the general principle so far. The proposed strategy of the observation system is simulated in LabVIEW and the development has not been addressed yet. An effort is made to make the work contemporary, compared to the related bladeless wind generator such as Electrostatic Wind Energy Converter (EWICON).

I. INTRODUCTION
WIND power as a renewable energy method has been improved to be different shapes
and placed at many regions. Typical, a wind generator has a wind turbine device that converts kinetic energy from wind into mechanical energy. Nowadays, a very new idea of wind generator without blades has been proposed in some researches. In the past few years, some approaches of the bladeless generators have been developed. A bladeless wind turbine whose only rotating component is a turbine/driveshaft could generate power at a cost comparable to coal-fired power plants, according to its developers at Solar Aero is an improvement on a patent issued to Nikola Tesla in 1913 [1]. Another recently approach is the U.S. Pro-visional Patent Application No. 61/378068 filed Aug.

30, 2010 by the present inventors [2]. The wind to energy conversion system is shown in Fig. 1. This approach is based on an adaptation of the piezoelectric effect—a well-known property of certain materials to produce electrical power when they undergo strain and stress. A first embodiment of this invention incorporates piezoelectric materials as components inserted into the side walls of a uniquely designed air jet tunnel to form a bladeless Wind Energy to Power (WEP) system. More specifically, the system uses (1) a thin brass layer, sandwiched between two Poly Vinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) layers to form a cantilever with high piezoelectric conversion; efficiency (2) a unique air jet tunnel and phononic cascade configuration with high coefficient of performance; and (3) a compact, modular power unit design.
While, an even more advanced approach
which is called Electrostatic Wind Energy Converter (EWICON) bladeless wind turbine generator has been created in Netherlands [3]. This method is without moving parts but using charged water droplets to produce electricity. It

can be any shape and place in anywhere. The schematic of this generator is shown in Fig.2.
However, s imi la r as EWICON, ion movement is another method that proposed in this project. The only different between these two approaches is using ion to replace the water droplet as the material.
II. GENERAL PRINCIPLE OF A BLADELESS GENERATORThe most important equation in the physics of gases is the equation of state of the gas. This is an equation that relates some of the important physical parameters. Most gases, like that gas in our atmosphere and the gas inside most stars, obeys an equation of state called the ideal gas law

where p is pressure, n is the air density, T is temperature, and R is the universal constant. Normally, the constant R is 8.3145 J/K.
The output voltage may be changed via the temperature. However, the pressure would be different when the temperature is varying. The Gay-Lussac’s Law says

Besides, the humidity and the velocity are other vectors that would change the voltage. The reference of this equation is calculated by Pref = 101.325 KPa and Tref = 273.15˚K. Here, the new pressure can be expressed as Pnew = %RH × Pmeasurement

where the variable V is wind velocity, N is the Avogadro’s constant 6.022 1023/mol and q is an electronic charge constant 1.602 × 10-19C.
III. SIMULATION RESULTSHere, this project utilizes the engineering
software LabVIEW to present the simulation results. The real data can be found on the weather channel [4] on website which shows the information of humidity, temperature, and wind velocity in Cookeville. The concept of this project is to show the voltage through the inputs. Fig. 3 shows the schematic that can determine

the output voltage with hourly data or quarterly data. For the experiment, the system will detect the data every 5 second as in real-time as an hour and then plot it in the graph. The program diagram of this project is shown in Fig. 4 that controls the entire system. However, some functions are still on construction.
IV. CONCLUSIONThrough this project , the LabVIEW
could ideally generate the voltage and monitor the situation when the bladeless generator is working. The future work will be that the system will detect the data from the website and
export the data into an excel file and adding an emergency alert when the wind velocity is too low to be benefit for generating the voltage or some intruders may destroy the device.
