WelcomeThis year we’ve achieved phenomenal success onthe greens around the globe, picking up gold in aseries of major events on every continent, so amassive thanks to each and every one forsupporting our product.

A special mention must be made to our team ofsponsored players who took out three titles atPotters, all using our ACE model.

At 56, AndyThomson proved once again that age isno barrier in our sport, becoming the oldest playerto win the world indoor singles title and bridging a17 year gap since his back to back wins in the 90’sat Preston Guild Hall, while Darren Burnett andDavid Gourlay bowed out in the semis.

Queen of the Greens Karen Murphy also showedher class with a battling win to lift the LadiesWorldMatch play title while the irreproachable Gourlaywalked off with theWorld Mixed Pairs title for thethird time in five years, this time in partnership withDebbie Stavrou.

With an eye on the future, we’ve also taken controlof our Australian arm of Taylor Bowls, setting up anew warehousing and office facility on the SunshineCoast in Queensland. As we now service two of thebiggest bowls markets, this will enable us to strikebetter deals with our suppliers, for you the end user.

During 2011 Bowls England, Scotland, Ireland andWales changed the rules regarding colour clothing.The ruling now indicates that clothing must bepredominately white thus allowing players to add atouch of colour to their playing gear. This, along withthe changes in Australia that I have alreadymentioned, Taylor's will be able to offer Aussie styleclothing, the first of these being the "Wave" shirtthat you can see on page 18.

Like everyone else, we are concerned about thecurrent economy around the world and accordinglyhave kept our pricing as streamlined as possible,once again showing our support and commitmentto the sport.

The latest ‘must haves’ for any bowler,our range of waterproofs is smart, sporty,practical and comfortable.

This wet weather gear is engineered from atechnologically advanced, breathable, lightweight,windproof material with a clever elastane influencefor greater mobility particularly around the armand leg areas. With taped seams and stretch meshlining the waterproofs offer a comfortable, flexiblefit for a smooth, non restrictive delivery.

UNIQUE to our garments is the introduction of amid grey coloured panelling on the inside of thecollar, the side panels and underarm area –traditionally the worst areas for the garmentssoiling. Piping in the same tone enhances the areaon the chest, across the shoulders, pocket detailand around the zipped area of the trousers. Thelogo is highlighted in an attractive turquoise shade.
