2. Creative StudioA division of iGreetingse-card archives Welcome to the new utility, e-card archives! Weve designed the archives withyou, the busy graphic designer, in mind. The e-card archives will be accessible from themainframe at company headquarters; you may access from your workstation, or remotelyfrom your laptop. The images from the past e-card files have been digitized, andmetadata has been created for each image. These images have been arranged in ahierarchical faceted taxonomy, with hierarchical notation to facilitate browse and searchfunctions. You may browse by category, such as a specific holiday or event. You may usethe search function, and pull up cards with a predominant color, or color combination,such as green for St. Patricks Day, or orange and black, for Halloween. Specific imagesearches, such as for ties and barbecue grills, may bring up Fathers Day e-cards amongother masculine themed e-cards, or you may search specifically for Fathers Day cards.You may also search by image, event, or mood. We hope this new utility will assist you in mining the archives for new ideas,identifying possible categories we havent yet addressed, and re-vamping otherwisesuccessful ideas (such as redesigning artwork for a card that was popular, but whoseartwork had become dated).
