Letter of intention

Hi there! My name is Tobias Tvermose and I’m a young man (20) from Denmark, and I’m applying for the Computer Graphic Arts bachelor at The Animation Workshop.Ever since I was a child, I have always loved drawing and making various creative projects. My friends and I used to record short films, write comics and design webpages.During high school I had Art class at a B-level and went to UNF’s Game Development Camp twice, where I learned the basics of both Photoshop and 3DS Max. Ever since then, I have followed the gaming industry closely and gained an interest in game development as well as the bussiness side of the industry.After I graduated high school in 2011, I attended The Drawing Academy at spring 2012 at The Animation Workshop.Studying under teacher Mads Peter, I learned the fundamentals of classical drawing, perspective and anatomy. As well as a thorough work ethic and how to constructively handle criticism.Disney and Nintendo have always been huge inspirations of mine. I love the colorful worlds and epic tales and I would love to create something like that one day, whether it be in movies, games, comics or illustration. I also used to watch a lot of cartoon network, and I guess some of the crazy humor and weird stylization has stuck with me.I intend to finance my stay at The Animation Workshop, by taking a loan, ensuring I can devote my full time and attention to the education.
