PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Taubmans LivingProof Eggshell is a hard wearing, water based modified acrylic. It has excellent coverage with minimal roller splatter and dries quickly to a smooth even finish.

PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS

Features

• Formulated to resist dirt and scuffing and also makes the surface easy to clean with its improved scrubability and resistance to staining and household cleaners.

• Excellent coverage with minimal roller splatter and dries quickly to a smooth even finish. • Low odour, user friendly application. • Able to be applied at a minimum temperature of 5°C.

Constraints

• Do not apply when the temperature is below 5°C, the humidity is greater than 85%. • Not recommended for use in kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. In these areas use either

Taubmans UltraProof Acrylic Enamel or Taubmans Gaylon Enamel.

SURFACE PREPARATION

All Surfaces: Remove grease, dust and dirt by washing down with liquid sugar soap as per label directions. If mould is present treat with proprietary mould killer as per label directions. If wallpaper has been stripped all wallpaper paste should be removed. All loose, peeling and flaking material must be removed. Fill holes and cracks with a suitable filler. Sand the surface smooth with 150 or 180 grit sandpaper. Remove sanding dust and apply the appropriate preparatory product. Bare Timber & MDF: Taubmans UnderProof Acrylic Primer Undercoat or Taubmans UnderProof Primer Sealer Undercoat. Bare GIB®: Taubmans UnderProof Undercoat and Wallboard Sealer. Sun burnt or skim coated GIB®: Taubmans UnderProof Pigmented Sealer. Previously Painted Surfaces: Taubmans UnderProof Undercoat and Wallboard Sealer or Taubmans UnderProof Primer Sealer Undercoat.

APPLICATION

Stir paint thoroughly with a flat stirrer until contents are uniform and thoroughly mixed. Thin with up to 5% water if required. Apply 2 coats to surface with high quality brush or roller. A 6 mm roller nap is recommended. Spread paint evenly, but do not overspread. Provide adequate ventilation during use.

NOTES

All sanding dusts can be harmful. When sanding any surface wear an appropriate dust mask. Avoid breathing the dust. After one week, Taubmans LivingProof Eggshell will reach its full stain resistance (tinted colours require up to 2 weeks). Cleaning with a non abrasive cleaner such as Ajax Spray ‘n’ Wipe™ and a damp cloth is recommended.
