Th is p ro je ct in clu ded 180 stud en ts, ( 110 be re aved an d 70 n on be-re aved ) . Th e be re aved stu d en ts we re ran d om ly p lace d in to con -tro l and tre atm en t g ro up s. Th e stu den ts com p le ted m u ltip le d atain str um en ts o n se ve ral o ccasio n s. Over th re e d ata gath e rin g se s-s io n s, th e p ro je ct re ta in e d 78% ( n = 141) o f th e p ar tic ip an ts: 46b e r e ave d su p p o rt g ro u p m em be r s, 34 b e re ave d co n tr o l g ro u pm em be rs, and 61 nonbe reaved con tro l g ro u p m em be rs.
