One of the company‘s most successful backpacks has been further developed for the 2015 season: the key details of the Raid Pack MK III have been optimised, and it has been given an even more efficient carrying system. The V2 Plus system offers a greater range of variation in the adjust-ment of the back length, while the reinforced hip belt can be detached when required and even used separately as a „warrior belt“. The V2 Plus system is also to be found on the Trooper Pack and the 2in1 Pack, as well as on the newly developed 3P Pack, which is based on the classic „Alice Pack“.

The Bug Out Pack is a weight-optimised 40-litre backpack with a lightweight, ventilated carrying system. Despite the relatively small back contact area, the X Vent Zero Plus system offers a very high level of wear comfort, and ensures the perfect weight distribution to the hip area. For special operations, TASMANIAN TIGER has a series of ul-

tra-flat magazine pockets made of a stretchy material. The Low Profile (LP) pouches are ideal for concealed wearing close to the body, and the magazines are very quickly ready to use.

From prototype to series production, all products are manu- factured in the company’s own production facilities. This ensures that a consistently high level of quality is maintained. Every step in the production process, from purchasing materials to manufacture to the final checks, is precisely defined and checked regularly by independent test centres to international standards. Every product is checked before it leaves production and is given a serial number that is then stored in the company’s own database.

ADJUST YOUR BACKPACK

The closer heavy objects are to the body, the easier it is to put a backpack on and to balance it while carrying. Heavy objects should be placed over lighter objects at shoulder height. Only the basic necessities should be carried on the outside, but a variety of our backpacks provide practical attachment possibilities for attaching things to the side, such as tent poles. A sleeping bag belongs in the bottom compartment. Stuff sacks keep everything organized for stowing in the main compartment or side pockets.

X1 SYSTEMHigh-end carrying system for heavy loads. The X1 System was developed specifically for heavy loads. It works based on a system that is as simple as it is ingenious:

Two ergonomically shaped, crossed aluminium bars in framechannels (1) transfer part of the carrying load laterally to thespecially padded hip strap (2) transferring the load from the backto the hips. The anatomically positioned, ultra-comfortable hipstrap consists of a multi-layered hip fin with a reinforcementpanel in PE. The deflected belt strap (3) makes it easier to tightenand set in position. A rubberised lumbar pad (4) between the hipfins prevents the backpack from slipping. A short, anatomicallyshaped aluminium rod (5) behind it gua-rantees the optimum fit.The back padding (6) above it is ultra-concave in shape, sewninto chambers for better ventilation, and rests perfectly againstthe back with its generous tech-nical padding. The load controlstraps (7) can be partially attached in two different positions foroptimum setting. Soft, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps (8) with height adjustment (9) increase the level of comfort. The lid isalso height adjustable (10) .

V2 PLUS SYSTEM Size-adjustable carrying system for medium to heavy loads. The V2 Plus Carrying System has a high contact point on the back panel that offers a tremendous range when adjusting the back length. Backpacks with this system also have a detachable hip strap, which means they can also be carried with fully-packed waistcoats and chest rigs - the broad, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps make sure they are still comfortable to wear. The detachable hip strap can also be worn separately as a „warrior belt“.

Two V-shaped aluminium rods (1) guide the force directly into the reinforced hip strap. The three-part ergonomically shaped hip strap consists of a lumbar pad with a rubberised insert (2) to prevent the backpack from slipping, and two conically shaped hip wings (3). They have several layers of padding and are reinforced with a PE plate. The hip strap is easy to tighten using the deflected belt strap (4). The back padding (5) is concave and sewn into chambers to provide pleasant ventilation. The height of the wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps is adjustable (6), and together with the load control straps (7) ensure a close, firm fit of the backpack. The Velcro-attached lumbar padding can be removed when required, in which case the system‘s aluminium rods – which are normally secured in the hip strap – are secured in band flaps. This makes it even easier to pull the rods out from the bottom when required.

Step 1: Put on Loosen the shoulder straps and lift the back-pack by the handle to leg-height and slip your arms into each shoulder strap one by one.

Step 2: Hip strap Always fasten the hip strap before tightening the shoulder straps: the middle of the hip strap should be in line with the hip bone.

Step 4: Load control straps Affix load control straps in the collarbone area at an approx. 20 – 30° angle.

Step 5: Chest strap Improves freedom of movement, stabilises carrying system and therefore prevents early exhaustion.

Step 3: Shoulder straps After adjusting the back length, moderately tighten the shoulder straps.

Step 6: Load control Hip strap Improves horizontal load control.

Y1 SYSTEMBasis carrying system for medium to heavy loads.

The construction of the Y1 System with specially arranged bars (1) provides an excellent combina-tion of ecient load transfer and high exibility. The ergonomically contoured hip belt with lumbar pad (2) and conically shaped hipbelt (3) comfortably padded and prevents slipping the backpack. Load control straps (4), the comfortable shoulder straps (5) and hip belt (6) are adjustable and can easily be adjusted to the the user.

X VENT ZERO PLUS SYSTEMPerfect ventilation and extremely light weight. The X Vent Zero Plus Carrying System combines excellent ventilation and a lightweight construction with ad-justable fitting options.

Two fiberglass rods are attached in an X-shape (1) to the back of the pack and provide, together with the integrated hip belt, the supporting structure of the pack (2).Two additional fiberglass rods (3) transfer the load to the anatomically shaped, ventilated hip belt (4). The open space created by the supporting structure (5) results in an extre-mely large ventilation zone. The system allows for the tension of the X-shaped fiberglass rods to be adjusted (6), which varies the distance of the load to the back – changing also the center of gravity of the load.

V2 SYSTEM Size-adjustable carrying system for medium to heavy loads.

Two aluminium bars (1) forming an inverted „V“ plus two short fibreglass reinforced bars for additional sup-port form the central static unit. The two fibreglass reinforced bars (2) lead from the inner aluminium frame channels laterally into the hip wings (3). The dimensions and arrangement of these reinforced bars result in an excellent combination of efficient load transmission and system flexibility. Three-part ergonomically shaped hip strap consists of a central lumbar pad with a rubberised insert (4) to prevent the backpack from slipping, and two conically shaped hip wings. They have several layers of comfortable padding, are reinforced with a PE panel and can easily be tightened using a deflected belt strap. (5) The technical back padding (6) consists of a number of chambers, and is conically shaped to ensure the optimum position and contact with the backpack. The load control straps (7) and the ergonomically shaped shoulder straps (8) can be attached in different positions for optimum adjustment. The lid is also height-adjustable (9).

X VENT SYSTEMVentilated carrying system for small to medium back-packs.

The X Vent System combines the clever load distribu-tion of the X systems with the pleasant carrying com-fort of a ventilation system. The two lightweight cross aluminium profiles (1) run in two channels on the rear panel of the backpack. At the top positioning point of the profile (2) the mesh (3) can be tightened or loosened depending on whether ventilation is required or if the backpack is to sit directly against the back. The carrying load is transferred laterally to the hip strap in durable Hypalon pockets (4). The hip strap has been re-designed to be particularly ergonomic, with new panel geometry and padding for even greater comfort. If the backpack is to be used with the mesh panel loose, i.e. against the body, then additional comfort will be provided by the secondary back padding (5) . The curved shoulder straps (6) are made of a particularly light, pleasant material.

1 The panel is made up of four single panels that can be zipped together with no. 10 zips. The single panels are made of MOLLE Velcro with a number of elastic loops and a strong handle 2 .

The single panels dimensions: 51 x 23 cm) can be equipped individually and stowed away e.g. in vehicles, helicopters etc. Large hooks are available as individual attachment systems. The large panel is suitable for tents and fixed stations.

The clear and single pouches 3 can be arranged and used as desired. Velcro areas can be labelled with the user‘s own or with the TT themed options5 . If using Velcro pouches, they can be attached to the panels that are included in the delivery.

5 A TT Dump Pouch (product component) on the front keeps things in order.

6 Strong no. 10 zips connect the individual pa-nels. Full back view.

7 There are slot compartments on the back of the individual panels where flat items of equipment can be kept.

8 When the panels are connect, the entire packagecan be rolled up, compressed with buckles, and carried by the handles.

RFID readers are small, easy to obtain and – with the right criminal energy – to manipulate. As the radio waves pass through a large number of sub-stances and materials, it is possible for data to be stolen “in passing”.

Possible consequences: identity theft, loss of credit, exposure of behaviour and movement profiles, unauthorised access to business and/or private premises, etc.

TASMANIAN TIGER uses Cryptalloy®, a special metal alloy made by Kryptronic Technologies of Munich, for its RFID Block products. Compared with regular metallised foils, coatings and fabrics of the same strength and flexibility that still allow a proportion of the radio frequency through, Cryptalloy® almost completely blocks the signal (remaining signal no longer measurable). Cryptalloy® has been tested by SGS/TÜV Saarland Foster GmbH, and is confirmed and certified as suitable for screening against the unauthorised reading of RFID chips (including remote chips, NFC) on commercial frequencies 125 kHz, 13.5 MHz and 900 MHz. What is significant is the protection on frequency 125 kHz. Protection against this frequency guarantees maximum protection against all the usual RFID frequencies.

A 3 point belt is the most versatile type of a carrying strap.

It can be used for shoulder carrying as well as for holding the weapon in the “patrol ready” position.

Once you carry the weapon in a diagonal position in front of the body, it can be brought quickly to the left or right shoulder by just releasing the buckle. In this way the strap works as a “single sling”.

The attachment to the weapon is adjusted with high grade weapon hooks.

420 HD Nylon (100% polyamide). The classic 420 den Nylon material has proved itself in the „high density“ (HD) version as a good, very fle-xible basic material. The 420 den yarn gives it a very high tear resistance. The material is made waterproof by the triple PU coating.

Acetal (100% acetal). Acetal is a crystalline thermo-plastic polymer material. Acetal characteristically has excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness and chemical resistance. Acetal has ex-cellent flexural memory and property retention when subjected to repeated loading. The normal short-term use temperature range is -40°C to +132°C.

CORDURA® 500 DEN (100% polyamide). Made from INVISTA high tenacity, air-jet textured nylon 6.6 in 500 Denier. CORDURA® brand provides fabrics that are recognized for their long-lasting durability and resistance to abrasions, tears andscuffs and is more durable than other fabrics. CORDURA® fabric offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio, making it a first-choice for durable fabrics.

CORDURA® 700 DEN (100% polyamide). CORDURA®

in fibre thickness 700 den combines the high wear and tear resistance of the classic 1000 den fabric with the lightness of the 500 den fabric.

CRYPTALLOY® (aluminium alloy). Screening products with the specially developed tear- resistant material CRYPTALLOY® offer a very high level of protection against RFID/NFC at-tacks. It blocks radio waves on all the usual RFID frequencies.

TEXAMID 11.1 (100% polyamide). Air-textured Nylon yarn is the base for a highly wear and wear-resistant material that is made waterproof by a triple PU coating.

TEXTREME 6.6 (100% polyester). The textured polyester material in 600 den threads is robust, colourfast and versatile. PU-coated to achieve a weatherproof finish.

T-SQUARE RIP (100% polyamide). The very tight, special weaving method of the 210 den fibres makes this fabric extremely strong, but it remains light at the same time.

T-STRETCH (100% polyester). The strong, wear-proof, highly elastic material is used for small items.

T-COVER TEX (100% polyester). This very light, waterproof material made out of polyester is pleasantly soft to the touch, and is used mainly for capes, rain covers and stuff bags.

EPIC POPLAR (100% polyamide). A handy, tough nylon fabric in dull optic with EPIC finishing in which the fabric cavities are lined in silicone. This makes the fabric highly water repellent and provides the best drying properties.

T-TRAVEL COTTON EPIC (50% polyamide, 50% cotton). A strong, densely woven cotton blend with a special finish in which the fabric cavities are lined in silicone. This makes the fabric highly water repellent and provi-des the best drying properties.

T-VENT SOFTSHELL 3L Outer layer: 86% polyester, 14% elastane, Inner layer: 100% polyester, Membrane: 100% polyurethane. This technical 3-layered Soft-Shell material achieves high values with regard to water-proofness (watercolumn 5 000 mm) and breathability (MTVRvalue 5000 g/m²/24hrs).

T-TECNOPILE NOWIND (Outer layer: 100% polyester, Inner layer: 100% polyester, Membrane: 100% polyu-rethane). A 3 layer material with an even Tecnopile fleece outside, a wind and water resistant Pontetorto NoWind membrane and a soft inner Tecnopile fleece side.

T-Vent Tec 3L (Outer layer: 100% polyamide, Inner layer: 100% polyamide, Membrane: 100% ePTFE). Lightweight, robust, wind -and waterproof 3-layered material. This special ePTFE membrane offers supreme klima comfort.

T-SOFTSHELL EXP 3L (Outer layer: 85% polyamide, 15% elastane, Inner layer: 100% polyester, Memb-rane: 100% polyurethane).This 3-layered SoftShell- Material achieves high values with regard to water- tightness (watercolumn 10,000mm) and breathability (MTVRvalue 10,000g/m²/24hrs.).The material has a polyamide outer and a soft micofleece inner side.

T-INSULATION 80 / 60 (Shellfabric: 100% polyamide wadding: 100% polyester). A multi-layer isolation system. The heat insulating padding / quilt is used by TASMANIAN TIGER for inner jackets. 80g for body and 60g for sleeves.

One of the company‘s most successful backpacks has been further developed for the 2015 season: the key details of the Raid Pack MK III have been optimised, and it has been given an even more efficient carrying system. The V2 Plus system offers a greater range of variation in the adjust-ment of the back length, while the reinforced hip belt can be detached when required and even used separately as a „warrior belt“. The V2 Plus system is also to be found on the Trooper Pack and the 2in1 Pack, as well as on the newly developed 3P Pack, which is based on the classic „Alice Pack“.

The Bug Out Pack is a weight-optimised 40-litre backpack with a lightweight, ventilated carrying system. Despite the relatively small back contact area, the X Vent Zero Plus system offers a very high level of wear comfort, and ensures the perfect weight distribution to the hip area. For special operations, TASMANIAN TIGER has a series of ul-

tra-flat magazine pockets made of a stretchy material. The Low Profile (LP) pouches are ideal for concealed wearing close to the body, and the magazines are very quickly ready to use.

From prototype to series production, all products are manu- factured in the company’s own production facilities. This ensures that a consistently high level of quality is maintained. Every step in the production process, from purchasing materials to manufacture to the final checks, is precisely defined and checked regularly by independent test centres to international standards. Every product is checked before it leaves production and is given a serial number that is then stored in the company’s own database.
