Habitat
Part of the world they live anywhere in Tasmania but their main environment is forest and coast.
What they eat they eat carrion wich is dead animals.They will also eat any animal lying around no matter how rotted.
Family life
Offspring 20 to 30 tasmanian devils are born but only 4 to 6 will survive. One they are born they crawl into their mothers pouch and wil live for 2 weeeks.
Their mothers will hunt for them for 5 to 8 weeks but then they are on their own Their mothers also build nests for them
Social Behavior
communication They use posture, noise, and pharomones to communicate with other tasmanian devils
Temperment and HabitsTasmanian devils will get
provoked easily also they are very territorial and protective
of their young.
Some Tasmanian Devils hunt in small groupes but most hunt ans scavage alone.
History and Present Status
Tamanian Devils have tought to be found in austaila but moved of the main land and to tasmania over 3,000 years ago. Fossil evidance proves this theroy to be true. Tasmanian Deivals are currently on the endanger species list because people will hunt them for their fur. They are also evtinct because they are being hit by cars while feeding on rode kill
Relationship to humans
they clean up road kill rotting and decaying animals. Have you ever watch looney toons and see Taz, Taz is a tazmanian devil though taz does not potray tazmanian devials at all in no way shape of form.
