Title of magazine you wish to produceIn the questionnaire I produced, one of the questions was Out of the following names, which do you think is the most suitable for a house music magazine? The options for this question were Volume, Beat, Techno and Electric. The results showed that Beat was the most suitable name for a music magazine. In my opinion, I agree with the publics choice to choose Beat as the masthead of the magazine as a believe it sounds like a music magazine also known as onomatopeaia.

Explanation of choice of genreI chose to do the genre of house music as I believe it is a current and upcoming popular genre and many people between the ages of 16-19 will enjoy.

Target AudienceThe target audience of my magazine will be between the ages of 16 and 25. As the genre I have chosen focusses on a fairly younger audience, I believe this is a suitable age range. The genre can be suited to both genders but mainly focusses on the male gender.

Initial ideas about front pageMy front cover is going to feature of a famous house atrist wearing black and white with a black background and white masthead. This is because these are the main colours that feature on a house magazine.

Initial ideas about contents pageThe contents page is going to be fairly similar to the front page and will consist of a white masthead and a black background. The main image will not be a big feature of the contents page.

Initial ideas about the double page spreadThe double page spread is going to relate to the front cover and will be a main storyline which is similar to the front cover including the person shown in the main image.

Initial ideas about photographsI will take photographs of the main image standing with a black background. I will also take one of them on DJ decks to look as if hes playing live. I will alaso take photos of people enjoying house music.
