However the fact that American actors are involved means that audiences such as older audiences and women and African Americans may be inclined to enjoy it also. Things such as weapons, explosions and aircraft make the poster appeal to audience with various different interests.The title of the film suggests mainly of a conventional thriller and implies that the storyline is about a prestigious society of affluent law abiders. It also indicates the idea of the spy aspect as it features the secret service immediately recognised by the public. The target audience appears to be directed at the adventurous people through the connotations action adventure, yet its attention to detail and inference of violence suggests a necessity for maturity and a strong attention span to detail.

The union jack is the object in colour apart from the hero. This suggests the loyalty and importance elaborated in a previous point. The flag stands out against the colourless city landscape of London.

Hes wearing a navy blue suit. Blue being a masculine colour, dark blue is associated with depth loyalty expertise and stability. The main colour pallet is black and white, allowing a sense of sustained originality and a classy impression. This makes it clear that the film is not a comedy. The lighting shows bond half in darkness and half in light showing the struggle between good and evil. His posture is uptight and on guard. We can see this as he is in control and stands his ground.

The font Skyfall is worn and in white. The design of the film title is capitalized. The lines of the letters are very straight, there is no curvature. Underneath this title there is the 007 logo incorporated giving it a greater impact on the viewer as it raises the audiences recognition. This relates to the significance of the manor later introduced within the film that is in ruins after action. White symbolises light and peace, contrasting with the black background.

The institutional information at the bottom of the poster shows the date of release in a border text. In a finer text it also gives information such as cast and production crew. It also raises awareness of its storyline relating to the works of creator Ian Fleming.
