Billboard is my starting influence, with an age range of 16 to 20. Most sell lines are aimed at a younger audience, yet with a contradicting elder pop vibe, not a typical pre-teen in your face one. Normally it attracts a female reader, which is what I want. The colours and images are associated with women, due to fashion relations, feminine dance/pop genres and entertainment/gossip from a womanly point of view. Social class is around the C2 zone, encouraged through laid back lexis and information on music. The mise-en-scene portrays femininity but I want a twist, something that wows the audience is feminine with a masculine twist through bolder colours, harsher atmosphere yet a woman model on my front cover, opening a wider genre and target audience enables me to provide a music magazine for both gender.
