Task 2 magazines Nuts magazine is quite different to GQ because nuts is aimed at younger men but GQ is aimed at working men who work in well-paid jobs around the age of 25 to 50, I can see this because of GQ slogan ‘look sharp live smart’ which the men who read this where suits and boots and have always looked sharp and have well-paid jobs in the middle class such as lawyers. Black is a colour which shows professional. However Nuts is aimed at teenagers and young men I can see this because it involves a lot of female breasts and sports which is what a typical young men and teenagers are very interested in at this age. The use of the colour red for the title symbolises love, which works well because, the men who read this magazine are in love with images they see. Also the provocative way the girl is standing in the right 3 rd draws attention to the magazine, because it is follow the rule of thirds, but the way her breasts are positioned, so when the view glances at the magazine they are attracted to it because of the size and shape of her body and breasts. There not many similarities accept they are aimed at men but different age range and different interests and types.
