In the beginning there was a typewriter where when you clicked in a letter it was designed to send a trigger to a skinny stick which has a inked letter on the top which would then print itself on to a paper or newspaper. But the technology has changed dramatically over the last 5 decade, from type writers to digital computer where you can put it in your bag and travel anywhere with it and it wont be a problem.

Letterpress

Letterpress printing is a techniques of alleviation printing using a printing press. A person build and bolts moving thing in a bed of a press inks it. It also provides a quality bespoke stationary.

Lithograph/ offset lithography

Offset printing, is also called offset lithography, and it is method of mass-production printing in which the images on metal plates are transferred to rubber blankets and then to the print media. The print media, usually paper, does not come in contact with the metal plates. This prolongs the life of the plates.

Laser printing & photocopying

A laser printer is a type of personal printer that uses non- impact keys. The laser beams draw the document out on a selenium-coated base using some charges. Then it is rolled into toner. Plus the toner adheres to the charged image.

Desk top publishing

Desktop publishing is a word and image processor which is not always the greatest package to preform a document. You need more control over the document you could then include graphic e.g. drawings, maps and diagrams then a desktop publisher e.g. Microsoft publisher would be more suitable. The desktop publisher normally produces leaflet, newsletters etc.
