WHERE PEOPLE SHOP

Where people shop is an important factor when it comes to target

audience, and this is because this will determine the kind of people

they are, and also their budget. People of my target audience are

teenage girls and therefore would want to shop in places which

stock the latest fashionable trends, so that they can be up to date

and also follow their favourite celebrities and their styles. With

music magazines such as the group I am in, and also others which

currently exist including “top of the pops” I believe that it is

necessary to show current styles or brands offering certain

clothing items, because it will interest the reader if they feel they

can buy their favourite celebrities outfit for less. They are not likely

to be owning their own money, and if they are then it wouldn’t be

much, so the idea is to provide them with the cheapest bargains,

but also things that are on trend and in fashion.

My main aim for the target audience is to ensure that my

magazine is designed for someone who appreciates the pop

genre, who enjoys listening to the new and popular music,

finds entertainment in reading about celebrities and finding

out the gossip, so they can stay up to date. I think its also

important to include the latest fashion trends, adding quizzes

and aiming for a generally girly approach.
