the new kadampa tradition (nkt)
The spiritual founder of the NKT, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, is a fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism who has pioneered the introduction of modern Buddhism into contemporary society. The author of 22 highly acclaimed books, he has also founded over 1200 Kadampa Buddhist centres and groups throughout the world.

Gen Kelsang Tsalden is the Resident Teacher of Tara Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Brisbane, and Ganden Kadampa Buddhist Centre on the Gold Coast. Her clear, inspiring teachings and gentle manner make Buddhist wisdom accessible to all.

In each class a different aspect of meditation and Buddhism is explained. The classes are self-contained so you can drop in any week. There is no need to book or bring anything. Classes consist of guided meditations, a teaching and discussion. Class fee: $10.
