DESCRIPTION
This established detached family home offers well appointed
accommodation with a degree of flexibility to the layout which will
appeal to purchasers keen to personalise their new home to
individual taste. In particular, the spacious ground floor layout allows
for annexe accommodation.
A conservatory addition to the front of the house, immediately
adjoining the kitchen, provides a sunny south facing dining location
and the focal point for family life. Windows have been replaced with
sealed double glazed units and there is a system of gas fired central
heating to radiators.
A broad paved terrace to the rear of the property leads on to a
large expanse of lawn with borders of established plants and shrubs,
and featuring a summer room, and in addition to the garage there is
a paved parking area for plenty of vehicles.
LOCATION
Situated on the fringes of South Nutfield, a popular location largely
founded from the Railway Age in the mid 1800s when this "new"
transport technology enabled efficient links to be established right
across the country. These links still provide an essential benefit in
the 21st century: Nutfield Station is nearby and provides a quick link
to Redhill and onward to London (Victoria and The City). The other
village amenities which include a general store with post office,
village school which has a good reputation and public house, are
approximately half a mile away and also nearby is the award winning
Priory Farm Shop and Garden Centre. There are more
comprehensive amenities available at the larger centres of Redhill
and Caterham. Junction 6 to the north of Godstone, about 3 miles
away, provides access to the M25/M23 motorway network and
London Gatwick airport lies to the south west.
ROUTE TO VIEW
From Junction 6 on the M25 take the A25 in the direction of Redhill,
proceed through Bletchingley and over the motorway bridge and
over the crossroads. Take the next main left turning into Mid Street,
signed South Nutfield, continue down the hill and into the village,
proceed under the railway and at the staggered junction turn right
into Kings Cross Lane. Pass the right turning to The Avenue and
Tanglewood will found after a short distance on the right.
