Tallahassee Police Officers Order Citizen To Stop Felon On The Run From The Law

During August 2007, five police officers were in hot pursuit of a felon with arrest warrants on the run from the law. Police Officers were running after this felon on foot and burning rubber in the parking lot of the Pensacola Shopping Center from the Hungry Howie’s to the security gate of the Dakota Apartments.

One Officer yelled out and gave an order to an unknown citizen to stop the fleeing criminal felon who was on the run from the law and considered dangerous. The citizen did not want to risk arrest for not following a police order while talking on his cell-phone. The citizen captured the felon and held him against the security gate for the five Tallahassee police officers to catch up with him and arrest him.

This citizen was told that he would get an award from the department for his heroic duty of catching this criminal that got away from these officers. There was never any award or any thank you to this citizen at all. The citizen suffered injuries during the take down of this felon for grabbing him for the police to catch up and nearly breaking three fingers for holding the felon up against a security gate.

There was no award, there was no thank you and there was no medical assistance. Tallahassee Citizen Rob Brayshaw decided to sue the police department because of the lack of attention to this matter which placed his life in grave danger with a wife and child to support at the time. Brayshaw had no option but to follow the order by police that was given to place his life in major danger with injuries or death to avoid arrest for not following a police order.

The Tallahassee Police Officers were completely negligent and incompetent as involved in the case for ordering a citizen to do their job for them of catching the felon and being unexpected to the citizen at the time. Not Surprisingly, this is the same police department that got Drug Informant Rachel Hoffman killed during the following May of 2008 for sending her out with $13,000 in cash to buy drugs and a gun from major criminals. And This Same Police Department actually had the nerve to

falsely serve Rob Brayshaw in May 2008 with a false arrest warrant on the same day that this drug informant of Rachel Hoffman was murdered because they weren’t doing their damn jobs yet once again. These officers are constantly placing the citizens at risk and danger. Rob Brayshaw had the Florida Statute of 843.17 struck down in Federal Court by Honorable Federal Judge Richard Smoak as it was unconstitutional on it’s face and did not apply for Brayshaw’s protected speech. Brayshaw beat both the City Of Tallahassee and State of Florida for their false arrest as applied to the Unconstitutional State Law.

As Far As The Lawsuit For Injuries during helping this police department catch this criminal with medical injuries to the joints of his fingers, the lawsuit was settled for $1500 as an acknowledgment of his personal duty to the city as ordered to do by Tallahassee Police. The costs of the lawsuit was nearly $500 for a Pro Se litigation in which $1000 was the only compensation given to this citizen for his heroic duty after personal legal costs by order of police of stopping a felon on the run with a rap sheet. This is while this same negligent and incompetent police department that got Rachel Hoffman killed would later illegally and unconstitutionally put Rob Brayshaw in jail for criticisms of their negligence and incompetences in their line of duty as police officers.

Rob Brayshaw Took Down The Florida Statute Of 843.17 That Was A Bogus Law For About 40 Years In Florida That Always Had Constitutional Flaws With The First Amendment. This Freedom Fighter Of Rob Brayshaw has been stopping felons for Tallahassee Police that they have been unable to catch themselves. This citizen has taken down an Unconstitutional Law that was always illegal as applied to any citizen by the City or State in the last 40 years. It seems like these Tallahassee Police Department Officers certainly need to raise the bar for protecting and serving the citizens as paid to do. This is instead of their constant track record of their endangerment and disregards to the public citizenry that constantly gets them injured and/or killed.
