"Why We Love St. Mark" By Abishai andOlivia J.Hi! My name is Abishai and this is my sister, Olivia. I've been coming to St. Mark since forever.I've been coming since Kindergarten and I'm in 5th grade this year. Olivia has been comingsince Kindergarten, too, and she's in 2nd grade. Over the years St. Mark has gotten even better.We build with Legos, draw in our journals, and the staff are nice and fun. Olivia's favorite part isdoing centers. We asked other kids what they like about St. Mark, too. Namir'rah says shelikes to play at recess and with Miss Taylor. When we asked her brother Ja'Kam what he likesbest he said, "Everything! The best is recess, but they call it physical literacy." Jakirah likesrecess and writing, Nephi likes free time and recess, and Brody says his favorite is havingsnack, recess, and playing with his friends. St. Mark is a good place because it's a nice placeto be when our mom has to work where we do fun things and are with good people. We got tobe in St. Mark during the summer, too, but next year I'll be in middle school so no St. Mark forme.

Mr. Boyd and Israel V.Israel says: "The best part that I like at St. Mark is on Thursday when we get to have free time.I do things like play on PBS Kids and ABC Ya. Mr. Boyd is nice." Mr. Boyd has been the site lead at Fulton for 10+ years! He has a passion for working withstudents to help them be their best selves. He is also a school day para at Fulton, so he isfamiliar with the students and staff, and a support to all. He has innovative ideas and aprofound ability to connect with students, making him a true gift to our program. This year hehas also taken on coaching soccer after school.
