DRAWING SERIES 102: ALL DRAWING MEDIUM For ages 9-12 With Anna Beidelman Continuing students are encouraged in this class! Children love to draw, and they do so freely and with great joy. Preadolescents reach a point where they want to achieve new levels of realism in their work. To do this, they must learn to see with an artist’s eye. This course introduces methods to help reach their goals in a fun and productive way. They will concentrate on a variety of drawing types — still life, landscape and portraiture — while working with a diverse spectrum of media like graphite, charcoal, chalk pastels and color pencil. Each term expands the artistic horizon of the children, whether they are new to art or repeating the class.
