Accessory

MonolinkCimberio Valve’s Monolink is an innovative and compact valve assembly that combines the components required for flushing and commissioning an HVAC system into a single unit. The Monolink combines an isolation valve with integral strainer, drain port, a built-in special by-pass valve, and a manual or automated balancing valve. Thanks to the isolation valve fit-ted on the flow side, it is possible to clean and service the strainer without having to drain down the whole system. Only four connections are required and, because the connections are simple union joints, the whole assembly can be adjusted on site for maximum convenience and easy accessibility, even in limited space.

MonolinkCimberio Monolink is an innovative and ultra compact valve arrangement that minimizes the time and space required to connect system terminal units to the distribution pipes. All the components required for flushing and commissioning the system can be combined in a single assembly that will fit in the tightest corners.

Flushing and Chemical Cleaning

Monolink contains all the features required to flush the system in accordance with BSRIA Application Guide AG 1/2001 Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems.

The flushing procedure should be agreed in advance with the appointed pre-commission cleaning specialist. For most situations flushing will take place in three stages.

Combines all of the components required for flushing and commissioning the •system into a single assembly

Includes isolation valve with integral strainer, drain port, integral bypass valve, •and a manual or automatic balancing valve

Strainer can be cleaned and serviced without shutting down the entire system•

Stage 1By-Pass Operation: Flushing the main systemStage 1 is a flush, and where appropriate, chemical clean of the main system with terminal unit isolated. Please note that strainer basket must be removed before commencing the stage 1 flush.

Stage 2Forward Flush Operation: Forward FlushingStage 2 and Stage 3 will take place after the main system has been cleaned and chemically treated.
