Takatof: ‘Shoulder-to-Shoulder’
• Takatof was inspired by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces
• It is a voluntary social programme, launched in April 2007, and designed to create a culture of volunteering throughout the UAE

Vision and Mission Takatof
Vision
The Takatof Programme works to embed volunteering in UAE culture and to promote the concept of volunteering as a 'way of life’.
Mission
The primary purpose of Takatof is to encourage people to volunteer – and to mobilize both people and resources in the UAE to deliver creative solutions that meet community needs.
Material – or Spiritual?
The late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan:
