Taj Mahal is a very popular historical place of India. It is one of

the 7 wonders of world. It is white marble mausoleum and it

was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his

beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is located at Aagra in Uttar

Pradesh (India).It is the symbol of love, remorse, loss. It is a

symbol of Shah Jahan love for his wife. It is a memory for

Mumtaj Mahal, it is an example of how much a man loved his

wife and a man how alive his love till centuries. It is a symbol or

Emperor Jehangir and Jehangir was the son of great king Akbar.

It means shah jahan is the grandson of king Akbar. When Shah

Jahan in the age 14 he meets first time Mumtaj.

Construction

Mumtaj died in 1631 , while she is giving birth to thei 14th child

. Shah Jahan loved his wife too much, in the memory of his

beloved wife Shah Jahan built the unbelievable mausoleum that

is known as Taj Mahal,it is the tribute to his wife Mumtaj tha

The Construction was started of Taj Mahal in 1631and it took22 year to build .It was built by service of 22000 laborers and

1000 elephant, it was built entirely out of white marbal which is

brought from all over India and also out of India. Taj Mhal

completed in 1653.The white marble was taken from Rajasthan,

Punjab and crystal was brought from China .The 28 type of

precious were inlaid in to white marble. The workers forceswere recruited from north India.

The Taj Mahal attract large number of tourist in 2001 2 million

tourist visit the Taj Mahal. Here government charge some

amount for visit Taj Mahal charges are in term or two tiersystem, for Indian people charge is less than the foreigners.

Tourist comes here over year but mostly comes in cool

environment like in October to February. Recently Taj Mahal

get 100 million vote for 7 wonders of the world.early-morning



The ground are open 6:00am to 7:00pm weekdays except

Friday when the complex open the prayers.12:00 to 14:00. The

complex is also open at night for tourist.At night view Taj Mahal

looks so beautifull.

Way to reach Taj Mahal

By Air:

Agra has its own airport which is directly connected. Delhi. Thisairport (AGR) is a military airbase and 12.5 km far away from

Taj Mahal.

By Train:

It is very easy to reach Agra via train.Agra is a place which islocated in between two main train lines. Delhi to Mumbai and

Delhi to Chennai. If you are coming from Delhi then hardly you

will take 2-3 hours by Bhopal Shatabdi, Bhopal Express, Malwa

Express, Gondwana Express, Jabalpur – Jammutawi Express,

etc.

By Road:

Agra is not so far from Delhi as c count it is 204 m from Delhi

and on crossroad highway transportation from capital to Agra

hardly take 4 Hour. Taxies Bus also available.
