Visitor’s GuideWelcomeThe Twin Cities Catholic Chorale extends a warm welcome to Saint Agnes parishioners and visitors. Our season of choral Masses with orchestra offers you reverent and unforgettable liturgical worship, including:

Everything you will hear and see fulfills the directives of the Second Vatican Council.

We lift our voices to praise God.Many Catholics and music lovers have heard choral Masses only in concert halls. We offer a very different experience: choral Masses sung as an integral part of the liturgy, as the composers intended.

We sing at 10 a.m. on Sundays, from early October through the Solemnity of CorpusChristi,exceptduringAdventandLent.OnAllSouls’Day(November2), the Chorale performs the Mozart Requiem, K 626, and on Christmas Eve, the Chorale sings the Midnight Mass, rich in tradition, majesty and beauty.

We’re looking for singers! Experience the joy and awe of singing the great Masses of the classical composers with a professional orchestra. The Twin Cities Catholic Chorale is looking for new members in all sections. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from7:30to9:30pminthechoirloft.Prospectivesingersshouldhavesingingexperience and basic music reading skills. A little historyFoundedbythelateMonsignorRichardJ.Schulerin1955,theTwinCitiesCatholicChoralehasbeensingingatSaintAgnessince1974.Thisisour forty-fourthconsecutiveseasonintheparish.

We feel blessed to be able to sing in this lovely and acoustically fine structure. It was modeled on Stift Schlägl, a monastery church at Aigen, Upper Austria, and reflects the Austrian and Bavarian origins of Saint Agnes’ founding families. Its 205-foothighZwiebelturm(oniontower)isalandmarkvisiblethroughoutSaintPaul’sFrogtownneighborhood.

Visitors from diverse backgroundsWe always are pleased to welcome visitors, especially those who have never before experienced Mass in the grand tradition of the Catholic Church.
