The Blunt™ TechnologyThe RADIAL TENSIONING SYSTEM (RTS) redirects, transfers and distributes the effort used in opening the umbrella throughout the entire canopy surface. The RTS creates a strong, aerodynamic umbrella with no sharp points - the Blunt™ umbrella.

A Blunt™ is opened by sliding the advanced Push/Pull runner upwards. This action is similar to a conventional umbrella. The Blunt™ differs by creating optimum tension in its canopy in a revolutionary new way.

As the Blunt™ canopy unfurls the additional DOUBLE STRUTS redirect the user’s effort into the specially designed FLOATING RIBS. These ribs are telescopic, and reach out like fingers stretching into a glove. They transfer the opening force into the patented BLUNT™ TIPS on the end of each rib. The tips then open like miniature umbrellas in their specially designed pockets, evenly distributing the tension right to the edge, where it is most needed.

Blunt™ Umbrella

A major flaw of the conventional umbrella design is that in even light winds the fabric can tear away from a tip or come away from the ribs. When this happens, the whole structure collapses and the umbrella heads straight to the landfill.

The Blunt™ solution is a uniquely tensioned canopy combined with a flatter aerodynamic profile. This revolution in umbrella design also eliminates any sharp edges and weak points. The Blunt™ performs better and lasts longer thanks to its revolutionary RADIAL TENSIONING SYSTEM (RTS).

Samples ShippingSPEC SAMPLES: All spec samples will be charged at EQP less 5%. These items are non-returnable and include your choice of logo, decoration method and location. Set-up charges apply, and are credited upon placement of an order of at least $4,000.00 or 200 units. We reserve the right to refuse spec sample requests.

SELF PROMOTION: Available at End Quantity Pricing less 5% and only valid when a distributor’s logo is on the product. We will not accept self-promotion orders from September 15 to December 31. Please contact BONICA for details.

RANDOM SAMPLES: Randomly imprinted samples available at End Quantity Pricing less 5%. Can be returned (freight prepaid) within 30 days for a full credit, less any freight charges.
