Milestone Watch1 - Desmond Rice and Josh Woodrum are each on

the verge of career touchdown milestones. Rice’s next touchdown will be his 30th career TD, while Woodrum is one TD pass shy of 60. Woodrum would become the second Liberty QB and the third Big South QB ever to reach the milestone.

2/3 - Chima Uzowihe needs 2 sacks to break the Big South single-season record of 9.5 sacks, set by former teammate Toby Onyechi in 2014. Ad-ditionally, three tackles for a loss would enable Uzowihe to tie the Liberty career record of 45, set by Aaron DeBerry (2000-03).

4 - Chris Turner has tallied three interceptions during his freshman season. His next pick will make him the first Liberty freshman with four in-terceptions in a season since Randall State had four as a freshman in 1998.

12 - John Lunsford is 12 points away from becom-ing the second kicker in program history and the third kicker in Big South annals with 300 career points.

13 - Darrin Peterson needs 13 catches to break the Big South career record of 223 receptions, held by Gardner-Webb’s James Perry III. Peterson already owns the conference record for career receiving yards (3,100).

A Liberty Win Would ...• Boost the Flames’ record in November contests

to 13-2 under Turner Gill.• Mark the Flames’ sixth win in their last nine

meetings with FCS Top 25 opponents and their fourth victory over a Top 10 foe under Turner Gill.

• Give the Flames a 7-6 edge in the all-time head-to-head series with Coastal Carolina.

• Give Liberty back-to-back wins over the Chan-ticleers for the first time since posting three straight victories over Coastal Carolina between 2007-2009.

• Clinch the Flames’ 10th straight winning season.• Wrap up a perfect 5-0 mark at Williams Stadium

for the 2015 season, marking the Flames’ first unblemished home record since going 4-0 at Wil-liams Stadium in 2010.

Quick Hitters• The Flames dropped out of both FCS national

polls on Oct. 19, after having been ranked inside the Top 25 for nine straight weeks, dating back to the 2014 season.

• Liberty was ranked No. 10 in both FCS polls on Sept. 21, marking the Flames’ highest national ranking since 1990.

• The Flames’ 41-33 win at Georgia State on Oct. 3 was the team’s fourth all-time victory over an FBS opponent and second in as many years. The Flames’ previous FBS wins came against Eastern Michigan (1989), Ball State (2010) and Appala-chian State (2014).

• Liberty is 5-3 in its last eight meetings with FCS Top 25 teams, including 1-1 in 2015. That stretch was highlighted by a 15-14 win at No. 2/1 Coastal Carolina on Nov. 22, 2014, the Flames’ first-ever victory over a No. 1 team in program history.

• The Flames have captured seven Big South titles in the last nine years, including 2015. They are 39-9 in conference games since the start of the 2007 season.

• The Flames are 48-10 in home games at Williams Stadium since the start of the 2006 season, in-cluding 4-0 in 2015.
