10ths and 100ths of SECONDS

AE Series Displays with Option 267 are used for counting up elapsed time in hundredths of seconds. They are available with digit heights of2.3", 4", 8", or 12", and in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 digit versions. Displays are factory configured in various combinations to display minutes, seconds,tenths of seconds, and hundredths of seconds (MM:SS.TH), depending on the number of digits. For example a 3-digit version could beconfigured to display seconds and tenths of seconds (SS.T), or seconds, tenths and hundredths of seconds (S.TH).

Standard models have pigtail lead wires for power and signal. All AE Series Displays require local power. Two controls are required. Connectyour dry contact controls (push button switches, limit switches, etc.) to the Start/Stop, and Reset pigtail wires. Controls can be located upto 100 feet away. In most applications 22 gauge wire is adequate for the signal inputs. Optional built-In controls and external control panelsare available.

Operation is similar to a stop watch. The Reset button sets the display to all zeroes. Pressing the Start/Stop button starts the elapsed timecount. Pressing it again, stops the count and holds the display. Pressing it again resumes the count up. The display will count up to themaximum count, roll over to zero, and continue to count if not stopped or reset.

Option 267 can also be added to any of the AE Series Multi-Function Clock/Timer Displays. In this case the standard presettable count upelapsed timer is replaced with the Option 267 elapsed timer.

PENDANT CONTROLS

Handheld Pendant Controlsfor Elapsed Timers, Counters, and Production Monitors.

The 2171-1 provides handheld push button control for Start/Stop and Reset control of AE and CC Series Elapsed TimerDisplays. It can also be used for Count and Reset functions on AE Series Event Counters and Production Monitors.

The 2171-2 includes a momentary push button and a latching push button. It is ideal for handheld, push button controlof the STD Series Precision Timers and the AE Series Run Time Accumulators.

Both models have a strain relieved, 10 foot cable with pigtail lead wires. The cable can beextended up to 100 feet from the Display. For extension cable, use Belden 8443 (ATS P/N1380-8443) or equivalent.

Be sure to check your local codes for all wiring requirements.

AE Series Display with Option 341 can be used with a variety of temperature modules for displaying a specific temperaturerange. Two are listed below, call for other types of modules.

Add AE-OPT-341 to any AE Series Display for displaying Temperature, Pressure, Flow and otherprocess variables (12 bit A/D - 4096 count resolution). Built-in controls provide easy scaling andcalibration. Other features include: Overrange and Underrange indications, selectable decimalpoint, leading zero blanking, degrees C and F indicators, and fixed 00's.

Add this Option to any 2, 3, or 4 digit AE Series Display with up to 12" high digits. Range can becalibrated for up to 4 digits maximum. Additional digits, up to six maximum, may be required for "-" to "+" ranges, or for fixed 00's, or degrees C and F indicators.

Option 341 does not read negative signals, but can be scaled for negative to positive indications.

A 4 to 20 mA signal could be displayed with a range of -500 to 500, where 4 mA would be -500, 12mA would be 000, and 20 mA would be 500.

The MC41-BP1 Bell Programmer System provides an Easy to Install Plug and Playsolution for ringing bells in small schools and factories.

The system consists of an MC41LV Master Clock mounted in a keylocked box (7"W x 12"H x 4"D), andpre-wired to a 24 VAC Six-Inch Bell. A 15 foot cable is included so the bell can be locatedup to 15 feet from the keylocked box. Powered with a 24 VAC power module (included).

The MC41LV Master Clock can be used as a four circuit time switch with four relays.The MC41-BP1 is pre-wired to relays 1 and 2 for two different bell durations,

RS232 I/O Interface for MC Series Master Clocks

The RS232 I/O Interface is included with the MC4181LV Master Clock, but can be added as an option (MC-OPT-354) to the MC4181N Series MasterClocks. This interface provides several system functions. The Master Clock can be programmed from a computer using MCPROGRAMMINGSoftware (included on 9800-1010, ATS Software). Using other utility programs provided on 9800-1010, time and date can be sent to RS232 digitalclocks such as the AE Series and CC2000 Series System Clocks, and/or to a computer. If desired, your computer may be used as the master clock.9800-1010 ATS Software is available at no charge.

The F-4436 and F-4431 Series Bells provide an easy low cost solution for all bell ringing applications. They are availablein 24 VAC versions. Each system requires a GPS-427A Antenna/Receiver and a GPS Master Clock.Choose either the AE2412R-427A or the AE26R-427A GPS Master Clock.

The GPS-427A Antenna / Receiver receives (UTC) Universal Coordinated Time from the GPS(Global Positioning Satellite) system, and provides a series of NMEA sentences for the AE SeriesGPS Master Clock, or for a computer.

The AE Series, GPS Master Clock constantly analyzes the data from selected NMEA sentencesfor signal quality, and to be sure it has locked on to at least three satellites. It then extracts UTC fromthese data for use by the system. After a satelite signal is obtained, a “Locked On” indication isprovided by illuminating the decimal point on the sixth digit. Time is then updated each minute at the30th second. A programmable, time zone offset is entered to provide local time for any world timezone. This offset is added to the Hours of the UTC. The RS232 serial data output provides localtime, date, Julian date, and day of the week data that can be displayed on unlimited numbers of AESeries, or CC2000 Series Remote Displays. For analog clock correction and bell ringing applica-tions, this output can be connected to an MC Series Master Clock with the RS232 I/O Optioninstalled. MC Series Master Clocks provide clock correction outputs such as 59th Minute correctionfor three-wire, synchronous, analog secondary clocks, and bell circuit outputs.

For System Clocks and Displays choose any of the AE Series Displays with Option 354 installed,or any of the CC2000 Series System Clocks.

All system displays are connected in parallel to the signal output cable using simple, two-conductor cable.A ten-foot data cable with phone jack is provided to connect the terminal to the field wiring. Use Belden 8442 orequivalent (ATS P/N 1380-8442) to extend the signal wiring to the system displays up to 2000 feet from the terminal.Each system display requires local power.
