PSAs shal1 also informto the PDAs in cases where the entitlement of minimum guaranteed pension/ familypension is found not beneficial. A copy of such authorization/ communication mayinvariably be endorsed to the pensionel's concerned for their information.3. Note 1- The pension of Pre-2006 TA Officers is required to be revised by Pension Disbursing Agencies in terms ofAnnexure-1 read with Para 4 of GOl, MOD letter No. 17(4)/2008(1)/D(Pen/Pol) dated 11.1'l .2008. However, incase the pension so consolidated happens to be less than the amount lndicated in the Table above, the pensionprotection as indicated in this Table will be given.

Note 2- The qualifying service indicated in Table-1 above is the actual qualifying service, and the amount of pensionindicated therein also indicates the pension without weightage in terms of Note(2) below para 5(b) of thisMinistry's letter No. 1(6)/98/D(Pen/Ser)dated 3.2.98 .

Note 3- Rates of pension at Table-1 above have been shown for qualifying service of 10 years and above as Armed Forcespersonnel is entitled for invalid pension after 10 years of qualifying service. ln order to cover all conceivablesituation, revised pension with as low as 10 year qualifying service has been shown in this Table even for suchsenior ranks as Brigadiers/Colonel even though such cases may nol occur in reality.
