The following installation instructions should be used as a guide for installing the Folding Guard TA-50 Military Locker. Common sense and appropriate safety precautions must be used during installations. The product may be unstable during installation; accordingly - temporary bracing should be implemented until all hardware is tightened and the product is properly anchored to the floor. Permanent field bracing (not supplied) may be installed at installer’s/owner’s discretion. Refer product assembly questions to Folding Guard®. Installer Tips:
• Installation is best completed with the help of one or two people. • Prior to beginning, please read through all instructions pertinent to your installation. (Doors, panels, etc…)

Prior to Installation: • Prior to beginning installation
please make sure that you have all the parts required for the assembly
• Make sure that the installation area is clear of all obstructions.
• Read thoroughly all the instructions.

Step 1: Locker Top (Refer to Fig. 1-A)
• Mount hinges (S) – 3 per side – to Left and Right Panels (G & H), using the hardware supplied (A, C, R). (Refer to Fig. 1-C)
• With the help of another person, hold the Left and Right Panels (G & H), and lay them down on the floor.
• Place the Locker Top (N) in between the Left and Right Side Panels and fasten to existing angle supports.
• Fasten all slots *(except for the 5 in the rear) using bolts & flange nuts (A & C). *The (5) slots in the rear will be fastened in step 5.
• Before tightening the hardware, make sure the measurement from
outside of both panels is 42”. (Refer to Fig. 1-B)
• Tighten bolts once 42” measurement is confirmed.
• Leave locker in the same position.
• Move on to Step 2.

Intermediate Shelf (L)
Step 2: Intermediate Shelf (Refer to Fig. 1-B)
• Place the Intermediate Shelf (L) in between both panels and fasten to existing angle supports.
• Bolt through *(4) corner slots using bolts & flange nuts (A & C). *DO NOT use the (2) inner slots on each side as they will be used in the following step.
• Before tightening the hardware, make sure the measurement from
outside of both panels is 42”.
• Tighten bolts once 42” measurement is confirmed.
• Leave locker in the same position.
• Move on to Step 3.

Step 3: Clothes Hanger Rod (Refer to Fig. 1-C) • Align the Clothes Hangar Rod (J) with the corresponding slots from underneath
the Intermediate Shelf (L).
• Fasten together using a bolts & flange nuts (B & C).
• Move on to Step 4.
Step 4: Bottom Shelf (Refer to Fig. 1-D)
• Bolt the Bottom Shelf (M) to its corresponding angle supports.
• Bolt through *(2) slots on each side using a bolts & flange nuts (A & C). *The remaining hole on each side will used as an anchor point. (Refer to Fig. 2-D)
• Before tightening the hardware, make sure the measurement from
outside of both panels is 42”.
• Tighten bolts once 42” measurement is confirmed.
• Move on to Step 5.

Step 5: Locker Back
*Note: If required, use temporary brace (Q) to keep locker sides straight. Insert above the top side support angle. • Turn the locker to its side. (Refer to Fig. 1-E)
• Align the Locker Back (K) to the rear side of the locker.
• Make sure the orientation of the Back is in the correct position so that all slots line up.
(As shown in Fig. 2-E)
• Fasten *all slots (except for the 2 marked in Fig. 3-E) using bolts & flange nuts (A & C). *When installing lockers that are back to back, bolt (K) to only ONE of the lockers through the (4) slots Shown in Fig. 4-E, using a bolts & flange nuts (A & C).
• Move on to Step 6.

Step 6: Hook Frame (Refer to Fig. 1-F)
• Stand the locker upright.
*If installing lockers that are back to back, skip to Step 7.
• Align the Hook Frame (I) with the corresponding slots from the inside of the locker.
• Using a bolts & flange nuts (B & C), secure the hook frame to the slots shown in Fig. 2-F
• Move on to Step 7.

Step 7: Non-Locking Door (Refer to Fig. 1-G)
• With the help of another person, hold the Non-Locking Door (E) in front of the locker and make sure the corresponding slots are lined up.
• Bolt the doors, to the pre-mounted hinges, using the hardware supplied (A, C, R).
• Move on to Step 8. Step 8: Locking Door (Refer to Fig. 1-H)
• With the help of another person, hold the other door (F) in front of the locker and make sure the corresponding slots lined up like in the previous step.
• Bolt the doors, to the pre-mounted hinges, using the hardware supplied (A, C, R).
• Remove temporary brace (Q), if it was used.
• Move on to Step 9.

Step 9: 3-Point Latching System (Refer to Fig. 1-I)
• Install the Padlock Hasp (T) through the corresponding holes on Locking Door (F), secure using
the Retaining Nut supplied (V).
• Insert Handle (U) through Padlock Hasp. *Make sure orientation of handle is similar to how it's shown in Detail A.
• Guide the Locking Rods (Y) through the top & bottom holes of the Locking Door. Holding the Locking Rods in place, attach them to the pins of the Cam (W).
• Finally, attach the cam to the handle using the Securing Bolt provided (X). *Make sure orientation of cam is similar to how it's shown in Detail A.
• Check the motion of the Handle, you may have to loosen hinges and adjust as necessary.

Step 10A: Back to Back Locker Installation (Refer to Fig. 1-J)
• Before installing lockers back to back, make sure (K) is already bolted to
one of the lockers through the (4) slots mentioned in step 5.
• Once lined up, bolt both lockers together through the slots marked in Fig. 2-J. (9 total)
• Finally, through bolt together the Hook Frame (I) of each locker using provided hardware (B &C). Refer to Detail “X”

Step 10B: Starter/Add-On Locker Installation (Refer to Fig. 1-K)
• After completing Steps 1-9, place two lockers adjacent to each other and make sure the
slots on each locker side line up.
• Bolt together through (3) evenly spaced slot for each side, using the hardware supplied (A & C). Step 11: Anchor to Floor (Refer to Fig. 1-L) • Drill (2) Ø1/4” holes – 1” into floor – through holes indicated in Fig. 2-D on Pg. 9.
• Anchor locker to floor using **(2) 4” Tapcon anchor bolts.
**Tapcon anchor bolts not supplied by Folding Guard Corporation.
• Check with level, tighten & shim as required
