Term 4 Week 1 October 16, 2019

Book Fair Second Book Fair for 2019 in conjunction with Grandparent's Day celebrations will commence Monday October 28 - Friday November 1. Books will be available for sale in the Library.

Learning @ Morisset Grandparents are invited to come to school on Wednesday October 30 to participate in classroom activities with their grandchildren. The morning will commence with a safety briefing in the Library at 9am and conclude with a visit to the Book Fair from 10am onwards.

Transition to High School Sports Gala Day - As part of the ongoing transition program, students from Year 6 will be walking to Morisset High School this Friday October 18 to participate in a fun filled day of sporting activities along with Year 6 students from all the schools in the Western Shores Learning Alliance.

Taster lessons - Year 6 students will also be attending taster lessons at Morisset High School on October 23 and November 1 from 9am - 11am. Students will have opportunity to meet staff, familiarise themselves with the layout of the school and ask any questions that they may have regarding their transition. Students will walk over and return with their classroom teacher.

Connecting to Country Connecting to Country is an Aboriginal community cultural awareness teaching program. We have a number of staff attending this initiative next week.

This is very much a community campaign to raise aware-ness around ways in which we can all save this precious resource.
