Netiquette is the code of acceptable Internet behavior NETIQUETTE – Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like them to treat you.

1. In e-mail, chat rooms, and newsgroups” 

• Keep messages brief. Use proper grammar, spelling, and

punctuation.

• Be careful when using sarcasm and humor, as it might be

misinterpreted.

• Be polite. Avoid offensive language.• Read the message before you send it.
