You can gain admission into a wide range of degree programmes at local and overseas universities in USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Advance standing for specifi c modules or up to 2 years exemption may be given depending on the relevance of the degree programme.

Armed with the highly valued and industry-relevant skill-sets which she had acquired from her Diploma in Aviation Management & Services course (2014), Ting Jia Yan secured a position as an Air Traffi c Control Offi cer with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. After a year of rigorous training there, she became a full-fl edged Air Traffi c Controller.

Working from her operations centre high up in the airport tower, she oversees the navigation and fl ight safety of incoming and outgoing aircraft, helping to ensure that Changi Airport continues to maintain its position as the best airport in the world.

The Diploma in Aviation Management (formerly Aviation Management & Services) is the fi rst such polytechnic diploma course in Asia. You will be among a select few trained in a broad spectrum of aviation-related domains, from airport and airline management, to fl ight operations and air traffi c management. You will be well equipped to meet the varied and specialised needs of the aviation community across the globe.

This is the only diploma course in Singapore which incorporates a 12-month fl ying programme as part of the “Aeronautical Science” option. You can take fl ying lessons at the Singapore Youth Flying Club and earn your Private Pilot Licence (PPL). You will also be trained in subjects leading to the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).

Your life on campus will be varied and vibrant. Sporting competitions, artistic pursuits, adventure learning programmes, team building games, student club gatherings, as well as the annual Campus Care Network Day carnival when students and staff join forces to raise funds, are some of the many exciting activities that will pepper your life as a student.

Located in a picturesque environment that is close to nature, the campus provides you with the ideal setting for work, play and

recreation.

This diploma also offers a 5-month internship as cabin crew (air stewardess or steward) on board Singapore Airlines, Scoot, SilkAir or Jetstar fl ights plying the region. You have a chance to be trained in customer service, while learning – fi rst hand – about air safety, fl ight procedures and airline operations.
