What is Aphilles?

Aphilles is the name of a new genetically engineered plant which is the solution to world hunger and poverty and may lead to the eradication of many common diseases today and into the future.

The name “Aphilles” is derived from alpha meaning number one (the best) and Achilles, the immortal ancient Greek hero.

What are it’s uses?

Every part of the Aphilles plant can utilized and therefore there will be zero wastage. This means Aphilles is extremely efficient and therefore an ideal plant for mass production and consumption.

The stalk can be pulped for use in making paper, fabric and rope.

The sap may collected and refined to provide high-quality fuel for pollutant free use in vehicles, heating and electrical generation.

The roots provide an ample source of carbohydrates and are similar to to potatoes in their appearance and consistency.

The leaves are very high in fiber, which is necessary for a healthy digestive tract.

The fruit contains all the vitamins and minerals, including Fluoride, essential for a healthy life. It also contains a protein that maintains viral vaccines and bacterium anti-bodies that grant immunity to those diseases. The seeds can be ground into a fine powder for making flour, and hence, breads and pastas.

The juices from the fruits are a delicious drink, and can be fermented to produce alcoholic beverages, whilst maintaining their nutritious value.

Description

The Aphilles Plant grows to approximately 1.2 meters tall and has many thick, woody stalks that branch out from central base. The leaves are broad and of a lush dark green hue, resulting from the copious quantities of chlorophyll contained therein. It has a large and dense root structure that stems from the central, moisture storing, potato-like bulb and absorbs nutrients quickly and efficiently from the soil.

Function

The aforementioned fruit contains various immune system boosting anti-bodies to imbue the consumer with immunities to many common diseases that can cause devastation in third-world countries.

The stems will make cheap, quality clothes for all people.

The Aphilles grows in all climates, due to the dense root structure, the large amounts of chlorophyll in the leaves, and water-storing bulb.

The life cycle of the Aphilles plant is only one month long, so that the crops may be harvested every month, providing lots of resources for all.

How will we do this?The increased speed in growth will be achieved by removing the gene which, when damaged, causes cancer, and replacing it with the same gene from a faster-growing plant, such as Rocket.

By splicing genes from cacti, the Aphilles will store water in it’s root-bulb, therefore, it is able to grow in the driest of climates.

By utilizing genes from plants such as silver-beet and spinach, the Aphilles’ leaves are very broad and rich in chlorophyll so that the plant can grow in low-light areas without ruining it’s marvellous taste.

By using genes of the Komodo dragon, the plant will be resistant to most plant diseases, as the dragon possesses a far superior immune system.

By splicing members of the fruit species’ we were able to give the Aphilles fruit all vitamins and minerals which are necessary for a healthy diet.

Due to the plant’s incredible ability to photosynthesize and produce nutrients, the sap is very rich in a specially engineered oil, which contains a minimal amount of carbon, whilst still burning effectively which produces almost no pollutants.

Food for all counties and peoples! Because Aphilles can be grown in bulk, and in any climate, it makes an ideal solution to our current plight of world hunger and poverty.

Aphilles will also cure all common diseases in third world countries, which are currently killing hundreds of thousands of people every year, such as colds, measles etc.

By using the fuel (which is extracted from the sap) as an alternative to current fossil fuels, the gross output of greenhouse gasses such as CO, CO2 will be greatly reduced, making our world a better place.

The Aphilles will extend the life span of humans by giving us a very healthy, easy diet that vaccinates us against diseases. Because of it’s high rate of photosynthesis the amount of CO2 absorbed and the amount of O2 produced are greatly increased. Not only reducing the output of CFC’s but reducing the quantities already in the air. Purifying our air, making the planet a healthy place for our future.

Possible Problems & SolutionsFarmers could lose much of their business due to Aphilles being completely free to grow. The Aphilles will not be the only type of food. Farmers will still have much of their western market, and will be subsidized by the government if they grow and harvest Aphilles.

The groups of anti-genetics wackos will not want to eat Aphilles and may protest against us. They will be made an example of what happens when you mess with progress, and removed.

The slim possibility of Aphilles growing wild and taking over the habitats of the natural Earth species. The plant is always harvested before it seeds, and the gross required consumption will not let get out of control. And there are strict protocols in place to prevent the accidental or illegal growth and distribution of Aphilles seeds outside of designated areas.

The petrol and pharmaceutical companies will lose much of their business. This a good thing, however as both companies are Capitalist, Profit driven and Evil. Only looking out for their luxuries and not focussing on bettering society and furthering mankind.
