Dear Citizens,
An almost Mediterranean microclimate, unique flora, and plenty of destinations for day trips – no place is lovelier in the summer than the Saas Valley. And if you love sun- shine, the Saas Valley is the place for you! Our unique microclimate means we have fabu-lous sunny weather on four days out of five. That’s why we decided to proclaim our inde-pendence from average holiday areas and declare Saas-Fee, with its spectacular views of glaciers and 18 majestic, 4,000-meter mountain peaks, the Free Republic of Holi-days. And Saas-Fee is not just for mountain-eers. With 350 km of hiking trails to explore and tame marmots to feed, visitors forget the stresses and strains of everyday life in no time. Marvel at the most impressive moun-tain panorama in the Alps as you delight in having found paradise on Earth. Get revived and reenergised by the warmth and energy of the Saas summer.
Welcome to your new holiday wonderland: the Free Republic of Holidays Saas-Fee.
