The estimate of £26,400 for sale of school requisites is "based on the provision of £52,800 for the supply of boofrs and requisites to primary pupils in Primary, Combined and Industrial Schools. Any-'v-;-'- saving on the sub-votes in question, owing to the financial inability of the pupils to buy books and requisites at half price up to the amount of the provision, will result in a shortfall in the estimated revenue amounting to half the total of the saving. ’ ’f .’v' . ■’ •■:' ■
