INTRODUCTION AND SITUATIONAL ANALYSISNew Beginnings Ministries (NBM) is a 501©3 organization that has been
serving God’s people for many years. NBM is a body that believes that no
matter where people are in life and no matter how far down they have
fallen, that there is always a new beginning for them. This foundation can
be highlighted in 2Corinithians 5:17 that says, “Therefore, if anyone is in
Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all
things have become new.” NBM’s mission is to help all men see God’s plan
for their lives, the people of NBM strive to help people understand their
need to be delivered from pains past, NBM sets out to inspire hopes and
dreams for a brighter tomorrow, discourage self-centeredness, pity and
blame, and choose to teach the power in being of service to others.
Through their mission NBM envisions God’s Spirit at work in all his people,
NBM wants to witness complete unity in the body, to see a totally
surrendered body of people, to experience the power of a unified praying
Church, and NBM would like for the people to exploit their God given
talents, and abilities.
The Situation: NBM is currently in need of funding to pay-off their church
building so that they can fully operate in their mission and vision. NBM has
3
roughly a $200,000 mortgage debt; with a 5.5 percent increasing interest
rate their expectation is to create fundraisers in house to pay down the
principle of the mortgage rather than the interest. This will help them to
pay-off the church in four years and avoid another large increase in the
mortgage rate.

Fundraising Plan
Systematics’ fundraising strategy is to aid in the
7
building fund of New Beginnings Ministries by
incorporating NBM family photos. Our plan is to target not just the members
of NBM but also any friends or families connected to NBM. We will create
and post a preliminary registration form to gage the number of people who
are interested, so that we can plan accordingly. We will conduct a month of
SYSTEMATIC Promos that will conclude with the photography date on a
Saturday. We are planning that our fundraiser will be an all-day event;
therefore we are expecting to serve clients
breakfast and lunch at a small fee. Each family
upon initial purchase will receive one preliminary
8x10 photo and will have access to packages on
the day of the photo shoot.
Goals and objectivesThe ultimate goal for NBM and the SYSTEMATIC team is to work together
as one and be in fellowship with one another. As a body of Christ we want
to see the possibilities of God manifested through each of us to reach more
people in the world and build the kingdom of God. One objective to
accomplishing this mission is to be debt free, which means to pay-off the
8
mortgage of the church. The second objective is to build quality
relationships with each other, to stay in unity. The third objective is to equip
other people that have the heart and willingness to also be a part of the
solution.
Systematic Fundraising Goal: To aid in the support of the NBM
building fund by contributing a minimum of $700.
Objective 1: To raise as much awareness of the event as possible
Tactic 1: Provide Systematic Promos every Sunday in the announcements.
Tactic 2: Create and hand out flyers of the Family Photo Event.
Objective 2: To have a minimum of 35 families registered for photos
Tactic 1: Post a preliminary and a subsequent registration form in the foyer
of NBM.
Tactic 2: Make follow-up calls and in-person contacts for certainty.
Objective 3: To creatively maximize profits while maintaining client
friendly pricing
Tactic 1: Provide additional packaging deals for the families.
Tactic 2: Have an optional digital CD that includes all poses.
Tactic 3: Provide breakfast and lunch at a minimum fee.
