Syntech SOLUTIONTM is the first fully-integrated artificial intelligence (AI) x-ray system for gun and knife detection. In partnership with Synapse Technology, Astrophysics now offers the integrated AI on the XIS-6040 product line for checkpoint deployment at schools, concerts, sporting events, government facilities, and other high-security sites.
Full integration of Astrophysics software and Synapse AI provides the ultimate in image detection, allowing Syntech SOLUTIONTM to examine bags with high-contrast filters and enhanced material discrimination. Unlike add-on AI software, integrated AI does not require additional monitors, stands, hardware, or for operators to learn additional software.
Syntech SOLUTION’sTM unique visual software is able to identify dangerous objects anywhere in a scanned image, even if they are rotated, partially obscured, or vary in size. The software isolates threats in a red box and automatically stops the conveyor to immediately alert the operator of critical threats.
Syntech SOLUTION’sTM deep-learning algorithms effectively model the synapses of the human brain. The algorithms analyze visual images and extract the object’s characteristics to create a model that identifies an entire class of objects. The AI’s ability to identify objects continuously improves as it is exposed to more examples, increasing accuracy and threat detection over time.
