#3 and #4 are axis to illustrate the above mentioned metaphor visually between nature, compsition of classic music sound and urban sound systems.

This part of the installation also consists ofwooden poles and birch trees with the similarfiltering and reflection effects.

Installation “a” is sited near to the entranceof Amager Fælled. Here there is a constellationof an elevated metro line, a highway, roundabouts and the Koncerthuset.

The sound installation’s purpose is to respond to the phenomena of the sonic situation generated by a heavy presence of motion and highlight thecurrently weak entrance.

The two axis of the installation is also a metaphor of the parallel presence of the composed music played in the Koncerthuset and the composition of the urban sound phenomena.

The installation contains 4 parts. #1 and #2 areset in a 10m x 10m frame. Both of them situatedat the entrance area to the Fælled by the purposeof introduction to the site. On the other hand #1has a function to filter the urban noise which is just next to the Fælled.

The structure is made of wooden poles set bydifferent angles and lengths with varied intervalsbetween them. This installation is also an experiment about how a structure like this canfilter the different volumes of sounds with thisconstruction.

Sounds are flowing in-between the poles and bygetting through between them they are reflected. This generated sound can be experienced by walking through the installation.

The twin of this installation is set on the top ofthe artifical hill nearby. Structure is built up ofbirch trees composed on a rectangular based plan. The trees would create a special spatial situationalso with a possible noise filtering effect andrefer to the birch forest in Kalvebod Fælled.

Installation “b” is sited on the dam near to thehighway. It is also built on a 10m x 10m groundplan divided by a north-south and east-westaxis. This ground plan is fitted to the existingstaircase to use the experience of a vertical motion and seeing suddenly the water and thehorizon.

Construction consists of “flags” made by polesand strong fabric to handle the big wind outthere.

The sonic situation here is dominated by theheavy traffic of the highway and the constantwind. Using this aerial phenomena the flaginstallation would generate sound to filter thehighway and on the other hand being a metaphore of sailing and being on water in front of the endless horizon.

Installation “c” is sited in Kalvebod Fælled onthe edge of the birch forest. The composition`s purpose is to grasp a special light phenomena which one can see in the woods on a sunny day.

The grid construction of the poles and the stringsbetween them is a translation of a forest situationbeing in-between the trees.

The installation is a sort of invert version of theabove mentioned light phenomena. The small elements on the strings are to reflect the lightand therefore generate a vibrating visualeffect, a sort of “dancing light” on the stringsmoved by a little wind. This is also a metaphorand synesthesic form of music and the invert translation of the light effects in the forest.

Construction is sited on the edge of the forestas a kind of transition in-and-out the forest.
