SYNERGY PLATFORM ADVANCES STARKEY SOUND
Since day one, Starkey® has centered everything we do around the patient. We help enable your patients to hear better in difficult environments and live a better life. As we continue to innovate, we do so with you and your patients in mind.
When we designed Synergy, we knew we wanted the platform to be flexible and powerful enough to serve today’s patients while also meeting the demands of the next generation. Today’s hearing aid wearers want to hear all the subtleties of life, even in complex listening environments: the inflection in the voice of a spouse or the nuances in the notes of a favorite song. They also don’t want to jeopardize their active lifestyles, and prefer devices that allow them to thrive — not slow down.
Today’s patients want more because they do more

Experience Manager
This Initial Fit feature is designed to increase acceptance of Starkey Sound™, especially with new users, by providing recommended gain settings to increase patient comfort and satisfaction.
Music adaptation and memory
With a music memory or automatic adaption that can be adjusted to unique, individual preferences, patients can listen to music the way it was meant to be heard.
Ultra-high definition sound with 900sync
The combination of Synergy and 900sync™ technology delivers an ultra-high definition audio experience, providing patients with the most natural, coordinated and connected hearing experience.
Backwards
compatibility
New Muse and Halo™ 2 products will ship with Acuity OS 2. All Muse and Halo 2 products currently worn by patients can be upgraded to the new OS at any time.
Today’s patients are more active and demanding. They want services and products that are customized to their lifestyles and not just a one-size-fits-all approach. Acuity™ OS 2 delivers the personalization they want at the speed their lives require.
We’re excited to announce our next-generation operating system, Acuity OS 2 with Interactive Intelligence that’s five times faster than its predecessor — delivering at the speed of patients’ lives like never before. Interactive Intelligence quickly and continuously adapts to changing environments when speech is present, allowing patients to effortlessly move from one lifescape to the next — without missing a word.
Acuity OS 2 also includes new protocols designed to increase patient satisfaction and optimize initial gain settings. This gives you more time to counsel and educate your patients on their new devices.
Each day, your patients are exposed to rich lifescapes that include an abundance of different sounds.
“These hearing aids and the professionals who fit them
are life changing!”

Ultimate Personalization
Patients can control and personalize noise management settings on-demand to ensure they don’t miss a word in wind, noise and crowds. SoundSpace™ has also been relocated to Personalized Control to help patients more easily make adjustments to sounds in specific environments.
Phone Calls*
Your patients can answer calls with the touch of a button and hear entire conversations when streaming directly to their Halo 2 hearing aids via Bluetooth® technology.
SoundSpace
SoundSpace enables patients to easily adjust sound to a specific setting. By simply moving their finger on the screen, they can adjust sound to their liking. They can also save their preferences in different locations as a custom TruLink Memory so that they’re comfortable in any listening environment.
Remote Control
Patients can easily change volume and switch memories on their hearing aids from their Apple® or Android™ device. They can also make adjustments with a visual indicator bar for better control and nearly infinite levels to suit their preference.
TruLink Memories
Up to 20 TruLink Memories can be created using the SoundSpace tool on the TruLink app. Patients can even geotag memories using the built-in GPS on their device. A geotagged memory will recognize where they are, and automatically adjust their Halo 2 hearing aids when they enter that space. For instance, a geotagged “coffee shop” memory will automatically activate when they walk into their favorite coffee shop.
Pristine Audio Streaming*
Halo 2 hearing aids provide direct streaming of phone calls, music and media from a patient’s iPhone — so they can enjoy clear communication and pristine audio streaming any time, anywhere, for impressive, immersive sound.
TruLink Adaptive Car Mode
With TruLink’s Adaptive Car Mode, Halo 2 hearing aids will automatically change to a setting designed to reduce the distracting sounds of driving and enhance patients’ overall driving experiences.

Lost hearing aids can be easily located using the Find My Hearing Aids feature with both a location and a timestamp. A signal detector sends a stronger or weaker signal based on how close a patient is to locating their Halo 2 hearing aids.
Apple Watch Compatible*
The TruLink app for Apple Watch can control volume, change memories and mute patients’ hearing aids right from their wrists.
Tinnitus Treatment
Integrated controls in the app help patients control the volume and modulation rate of our patent-pending Multiflex Tinnitus Technology.
