Syncing & Backing Up NotabilityNotability has several built-in syncing options so you should never have to worry about your notes being lost. This document will show you several different options to backup your notes.

You will now see several options to backup and sync that I will describe in the next section.

Turn this ON

iCloud Backup and Sync

If you’ve already set up iCloud on your iPad, this is the easiest one to set up. Simply touch the ON switch next to iCloud. If you haven’t set up iCloud, you’ll be prompted to do so.

Dropbox Backup and Sync

If you’d like to use Dropbox sync and you haven’t already downloaded the dropbox app from the app store, go ahead and do so. Sign up for an account using your LHN email address.

Touch Dropbox

Touch Allow

That’s it! It’s backed up.

Go ahead and tap the gear so you can see more options.

Now tap the gear next to Dropbox

Here you can change the folder that Notibility is saving your !les to in Dropbox (if you prefer)

Here you can change the format that it’s saving in. PDFs can be viewed on any device, but if you’re just using this for backup, you might want to change this format to “Notes” to retain all of notability’s functionality.

Touch Google Drive

Google Drive Backup and Sync

If you’d rather sync Notability with Google Drive, just touch the Google Drive icon. (You can’t sync with both dropbox and google drive, so choose your favorite).

You already have a Google account. Just sign in with your LHNstudents.org email address

The additional options are the same as DropBox - you can change the !le location or !le format

**You don’t have to sync with Google Drive - this is just another option.
