SYMPTOMS OF HEAT-RELATED ILLNESS • Clammy/moist skin and, in severe cases, red, hot, and dry skin, and no sweating • Throbbing headache, dizziness, nausea, confusion, or unconsciousness • Weakness and fatigue • Rapid, strong pulse • Convulsions PREVENTING HEAT-RELATED ILLNESS 1. Drink plenty of fluids, hourly when working indoors and every 15 minutes when working outside. 2. Do not rush; take designated breaks. 3.
